• Description: Advance the state of the art in laser technologies for laser development and laser vulnerability effects testing programs at the AFRL/Directed Energy Directorate, Laser Division. New Acquisition:High Energy Laser Joint

• Description: The High Energy Laser Joint -Technology Office (HEL/JTO), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Albuquerque, New Mexico, will solicit initially for white papers for science and technology projects required to support directed energy (DE) weapon systems. The OSD HEL-JTO program develops and executes a DoD-wide, coordinated management and investment strategy to take advantage of opportunities presented by advances in HEL (high energy laser) technologies.
