Change of Statutes in 1975

The Hellenic Mathematical Society’s objective is to promote and enhance various topics and applications concerning the science of Mathematics, as well as to offer support and solidarity towards the Greek graduates of Mathematics, which are members of the society, using every legitimate mean in order to protect them and their work.

H.M.S. Competitions

The mathematical competitions organized by the H.M.S. are fulfilled by the organizing committee

They are fulfilled in five levels 15000 students take part in level 1 Mathematical talents have been discovered in these

competitions and most of them today are occupied with mathematical research

In 2004 Greece will not only organize the athletic Olympic Games but also the International Mathematical Olympiad
