Giulia, between sea and mountains and between Udine and Pordenone.

Codroipo has, in the year 2006, 15.000 inhabitants. The city is an important service center for all

hinterland (50.000 inhabitants).

Territorial analysis

This phase involves a statistical study based on social and economic data, on interviews to stakeholders and some contributions on various themes (such as industry, agriculture, tourism, culture etc.)

Cooperation work between local stakeholders

This phase is about the activation of cooperation work between all subjects interested in local development.

Feasibility studies

This phase involves the design of a new model of territory governance (if necessary) based on the contribution of public (municipalities, Province and Region) and private subjects (Chamber of Commerce, entrepeneurs association, firms)

Municipality of Codroipo needs a feasibility study on future Development Cluster Agency for thermotechnic sector: organization structure, tasks, skills, etc.

Best practices

This phase is about a comparison between three partner social and economic systems to find best practices in their background.

These best practices can be obtained from analysis of organization model, relationship, business etc.

• Participate design of local development (by all stakeholders)

• Activation of dialogue between public and private entities

• Know-how exchange between partners

• Start of Thermotechnic District project (for Municipality of Codroipo)
