homework, please address the following scenario on the whiteboard
(NO EXTRA DRAWING WITH THE MARKER IS NEEDED):
Community Issue: Gravestones at the Second Baptist Church, the
burial site of 26 Revolutionary War soldiers, are falling apart and
have graffiti on them. Additionally, fifth grade students at Park
M.S. do not know anything about the historic site or the war
itself.
This is a Community Issue for Service Learning.
Brainstorm two meaningful I Response Services you can perform
and two meaningful We Response Services you can perform to address
the issue. How to Determine an Effective We Response Organization1.
Organization is well known/ Record of accomplishments

to email/ phone calls
3. Most donations do not go to administrative costs but to the
people suffering from the CI
4. Organization tries to empower the people suffering

Response Organization1. You have 5 minutes to individually (and
privately) read your description of a We Response Organization.
2. Using the criteria we just took down and the additional
criteria (5), write on page 113-114 whether or not you feel this We
Response Organization would be an effective partner.Use the
criteria! (4-5 sentences)Value LineShare your opinion with the
group. On the count of 3, mark your opinion with a X on the value
line at your tables.Don't forget the criteria! On the left side is
the happy face (you think the We Response Organization is a great
potential partner), in the middle is undecided (maybe, maybe not),
