Andrew Mawson, Founder & Managing Director, AWAUnderstanding and Delivering Workplace ExperiencesAndrew is recognised as one of the UK’s leading thinkers on the evolution of work and the workplace. Since founding AWA over 25 years ago, Andrew has worked at strategic level with many organisations including Merrill Lynch, RBS, Network Rail, Santander, Unicef UK, Welcome Break, Willis Towers Watson, The Home Office and The Cabinet Office to support them in improving the performance of their workplace portfolios.

Over the last 2 years Andrew had led AWA’s research into the design and management of ‘workplace experiences’ on behalf of Interserve, the UK FM company. The research built on AWA’s existing research base on Knowledge Worker Productivity and captured learnings from academic research on designing consumer ‘experiences’ along with case studies from the consumer world. These have been applied to the world of workplace design and management.

Andrew has been closely involved in the Workplace PIN since its inception and has also directed other research projects on managing the agile workforce and cognitive fitness.

Catrin Lewis, Head of Global Engagement & Internal Communications, Reward GatewayWorkplace Experience Design Case StudyReward Gateway has purposefully designed its London office to embody what the company strives to help its customers achieve every day: to attract, engage, and retain employees.

Every meticulous design detail and splash of colour is infused with positivity to remind staff and visitors of the company’s core values: to work hard, own it, think global, speak up, push the boundaries, love your job, delight your customers, and be human.

Catrin will share the story of how the workplace design evolved and take us on a short tour of the building.
