An Epistle from Paul: High on Bible School? – I’m sold on it. I’m convinced Bible School (Sunday School) can be one of the most effective arms of labor in the local church. I’m convinced with the building up
of our Bible School at The Church of Christ every other aspect of the church’s work will be more completely on purpose – winning the lost and building the won. I’m convinced there is a constant need to promote growth and participation in and through the Sunday School here in Christ’s Church of Eaton.
The following statistics were gathered by a faithful man of God who also sees the value behind Bible School. I hope they will make a believer out of you if you aren’t already!1. For every thirteen visits made to encourage people to come to
Sunday School, the school will enroll another person who is not a Christian.
2. Every time an unsaved person is enlisted in Sunday School, an average of four unsaved people will be found in the same household.
3. Every time three new people are enrolled, one of them will become a Christian in three months time.
4. Eight out of ten people immersed have first been enrolled in the Sunday School.
5. If you will begin a new class, it will reach unsaved people ten times faster than an existing class will reach them.
6. Each additional Bible School teacher you add will reach ten new possible converts for Christ.Again, I’m “High on Bible School”! How about you? We are
beginning our Fall Kick-Off this Sunday with several new classes. Get “High on Bible School” and be present with us this Sunday!

Recapping Our Annual Meeting! All our leaders and workers were affirmed in the strongest sense. The proposed budget for 2017-1018 was also affirmed in the strongest sense. All the reports given were uplifting and reassuring that the Lord’s Church here in Eaton is headed in the right direction… All in all the meeting lasted less than a half hour and was reassuring to all present that the coming fiscal year is something we have reason for which to look forward.
