Eurotron - One of the world leaders in high technology equipments: portable flue gas analysers - high accuracy calibrators - non-contact IR thermometers.

Eurotron has developed three software packages forpersonal computer to allow the use of the highperformance, two channels MicroCal 200/200+multifunction calibrators in all their capabilities.

CALPMAN

Standard Agencies and Quality Auditors require the

collections, organization and analysis of traceabilitydocuments. Calpman is available to transfer a selectionof calibration routines from a PC to the internal memoryof the instrument in order to simplify field calibrationsselecting the appropriate tag number.The data of each calibration procedure can be stored,into the calibrator RAM, together with the TAG name,engineering units, process info, calibration points and atwo levels allowed error band.The calibrator can be used as a generator, as a recorderor both; its input and output terminals can be used togenerate, receive and compare info.After the calibration procedure, MicroCal 200 willindicate if the tested instrument is in compliance with thespecifications or it has to be calibrated, and a decision

can be made directly by the plant technicians. The statusof each instrument before and after its calibration can bestored and recalled later for yor traceability document.

LOGMAN

The LOGMAN program is used to manage the datacoming from the MicroCal 200 memory. These data canbe downloaded, viewed as numerical values or in agraphical mode, saved on disk, printed and exported tobe used with the most common spredsheets. Theprogram is designed as a list of options selectable

pressing the appropriate number on the keyboard. In thisway, the use of the program is possible also by thosepeople who are not practical in personal computing.

LINMAN

As MicroCal 200 doesn't cover the whole range ofsensors (thermocouple or resistance thermometers), butthe main ones, Eurotron gives the user the possibility ofcreating its own sensor linearizations and to use themwith MicroCal 200. With LINMAN it is possible to enterC/mV for the thermocouples and C/ohms for the Rtd's.LINMAN will provide the linearization by interpolating theinserted points. In this way, by downloading the data intoMicroCal 200, it will be possible, by selecting Pt X ot TcX, to use the special linearized sensor both in simulation

and measurement. The program structure is the samethan LOGMAN's, with a list of options that are enabledby pressing the appropriate number on the keyboard.
