London’s excitement is around you. Go south for the river, for the Manhattan-style skyscrapers of Canary Wharf, for the historic elegance of Greenwich and spectacular events at the O2. Travel west for the dynamic business buzz of the City and the West End for the shops, restaurants, bars and clubs that everyone is talking about. London never disappoints, and all of it is within very easy reach by bus, tube or train from Aurora Stratford.

IN LONDONThere’s an incredible energy in the air in Stratford, London E15. It’s the Olympic effect of course, but far more besides. It’s also new high speed transport links, new high glamour shopping and One Housing Group’s Aurora Stratford, a prestigious new residential development.

Aurora offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments for sale, in a striking landmark building on Stratford High Street. A very high quality specification shows that we have paid careful attention to the way you want to live and the way you want your home to look and function. As a result, these apartments are the ultimate expression of contemporary urban style.

Aurora has a prime location in the centre of Stratford. Everything you want is within walking distance: trains, tubes and buses, shops, places to eat and drink and of course the Olympic Park, with its legacy of state of the art sports and community venues.

CENTRAL LINE

While the Olympics take place, passenger capacity will be increased on all lines, and in addition, the Olympic Javelin Shuttle will provide a seven-minute journey time from London St Pancras to Stratford International.

As an international interchange, Stratford is on the new High Speed One railway link, providing quick access from London to Kent, the coast and beyond to mainland Europe. Change at Ashford for the Eurostar, and you will be in the centre of Paris in less than two hours.

Stratford Bus Station, next to the train station, offers bus services all over east and south east London as well as National Express Coaches to Cambridge and Stansted Airport.

Stratford’s transport infrastructure, at the heart of the Olympic venue and an important area of regeneration, has undergone major improvements and is now one of London’s most important interchanges. Stratford International Station, whose building is an attraction in itself, is where you can connect with London Underground and Overground, the DLR, the new high speed train link to Kent and Eurostar.

On the tube, the Jubilee and Central lines are the routes to Canary Wharf, the City and West End. The DLR is an alternative means to reach Canary Wharf, as well as Greenwich, the City and City Airport. London Overground makes east-west travel around London easy; you can go all the way to Richmond via Hampstead. Change at Highbury and Islington for new connections south to New Cross and West Croydon.

The east side of London has blossomed, offering an endless choice of smart, sophisticated and interesting places to spend your leisure time. In Stratford itself the new Westfield Centre is expanding local options with over 300 shops, places to eat and a new cinema. It’s only a mile or two further to the contrasting delights of Canary Wharf and Greenwich. From traditional pubs and street markets, to world famous historic buildings, to exciting new places for food and drink, boredom is not an option!

WESTFIELDDue to open in September 2011, East London’s huge and glamorous new shopping centre with over 300 shops including John Lewis, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, Next, Waitrose and a Vue cinema complex as well as a plethora of places to eat, will be a destination in its own right.

O2 ARENARock music, TV events, comedy, dance and more under the 20,000-seater dome.

CANARY WHARFNow a mini city in its own right with shops, bars, restaurants under the glittering towers.

GREENWICHThe Royal Borough on the river, a bustling centre of maritime history, modern shops, pubs and restaurants.

WEST ENDThe many attractions of central London are never too far away, thanks to Stratford’s great connections.

PARKSVictoria Park, Greenwich Park, and of course the Olympic Park, all nearby.

LONDON

Plenty is being said about the ‘Olympic effect’ and Stratford is set to feel the full impact of it. The Olympic Park will remain not only as a memory of those days of sporting agony and ecstasy, but as a vital regenerative presence in the area. Over £7.2 billion is being spent to make this a world class venue for sports and leisure that will last long after the athletes have gone home. Fantastic structures are being built. The Olympic Stadium, already complete, will be used for major sports, cultural and community events with a capacity of 25,000 and is in now approved to be the new home ground for West Ham FC. There’s an amazing Aquatics Centre, a Hockey Centre, a Velopark and four multi-sport arenas. A boulevard links the Olympic Park to Westfield Stratford City and the Olympic Village will be converted to new homes: all of it bringing an incredible boost to Stratford.

The Olympic Stadium, designed to seat 80,000 during the Games, is the venue for Olympic and Paralympic athletics and of course, for the spectacular opening and closing ceremonies. Other Olympic sports will take place all around in the Aquatics Centre, Velodrome and other venues both permanent and temporary. In total there are thirty-nine Olympic and twenty-one Paralympic disciplines: many of them taking place within half a mile of your door when you live at Aurora.
