Provisions, Inc.,Williston Customers:

Re: Credit CardSecurity Breach

Dear Customers:In late May or early June we were informed by the Williston Police Department that a virus may have been planted on our computers, re-sulting in a breach of our credit card security. As soon as possible after the Police Depart-ment told us that this might be happening, we scanned our com-puters and did find a vi-rus on one of them. We did not have any idea at the time what that virus did, but we erased it from our computers. On July 2 we replaced the hard drives on two of our computers that might have been com-promised, installed a new firewall, and changed our credit card processing equipment to minimize any pos-sibility that credit card information could be stolen from our com-

puters. We ran new security vulnerability detection software that was rec-ommended by our credit card processor and scanned our com-puters. We were in-formed on July 7 by the credit card processor our system was work-ing properly, and was secure. In addition, we have implemented a regular computer secu-rity program to discover possible vulnerability in our systems. We learned on July 20 that it now appears to be very likely that some credit card information actually was stolen from our computers and oth-ers in the area as well. It is possible that your personal credit card information has been compromised because of this security breach. At the present time, it appears that only credit card numbers were sto-len, but we are continu-ing to investigate the breach. We recommend that

you carefully review your credit card state-ments and contact your credit card company to see if your credit card may have been com-promised. The Attorney General recommends that you remain vigilant by viewing your ac-count statements and monitoring free credit reports. For now, we ask you to call us at (802) 876-1400, Mon-day – Friday from 9 to 5, with any questions you may have. We sin-cerely regret the incon-venience and concern this may have caused you.Yours truly,Terry R. PowersPresident and Co- Owner,Natural Provisions,Inc. - Williston
