Prayer to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha St. Kateri Tekakwitha, favored child and Lily of the Mohawks, I come to seek your intercession in my present need: (mention it). I admire the virtues which adorned your soul: love of God and neighbor, humility, obedience, patience, purity and the spirit of sacrifice. Help me to imitate your example in my state of life. Through the goodness and mercy of God, Who has blessed you with so many graces which led you to the true faith and to a high degree of holiness, pray to God for me and help me. Obtain for me a very fervent devotion to the Holy Eucharist so that I may love Holy Mass as you did and receive Holy Communion as often as I can. Teach me
also to be devoted to my crucified Savior as you were, that I may cheerfully bear my daily crosses for love of Him Who suffered so much for love of me. Most of all, I beg you to pray for me that I may avoid sin, lead a holy life and save my soul. Amen.

PRAYER FOR PARISH RENEWAL Heavenly Father,
We thank you for gathering us together
and calling us to serve as your disciples.
You have charged us through
Your Son, Jesus, with the great
mission of evangelizing and
witnessing your love to the world.
Send your Holy Spirit to guide us
as we discern Your will for the
spiritual renewal of our parish.
Give us strength, courage, and
clear vision as we use our gifts to
serve You. We entrust our parish family
to the care of Mary, our mother, and
ask for her intercession and guidance
as we strive to bear witness
to the Gospel and build an
amazing parish through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS
Per ADNY instruction we will not return to Religious Ed classes this year. All students should re-register for the next grade
level for our September program. We know that this is a disappointment for many of you, our families, catechists and volun-
teers. For me it is heartbreaking not to see the beautiful smiles of our children and the moms and dads whom I look so forward
to greeting. Sadly, this must be so for now. Regarding the First Holy Communion and Confirmation celebrations we await direc-
tives from ADNY. There are many practical and health considerations being analyzed which will effect just how we come back to
live Sacramental liturgies. Please be patient and know that we will inform you of developments as soon as possible. God bless
you all. Jesus I trust in You!

THE MOST HOLY TRINITY
First Reading: Exodus 34:4b‑‑‑‑6, 8‑‑‑‑9
The Lord appears to Moses on Mount Sinai and proclaims to
him that he Lord is a “merciful God...slow to anger and rich
in kindness and fidelity.”
Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 13:11‑‑‑‑13
Paul exhorts the Corinthians to live in peace and harmony,
and for the first time, invokes the Blessed Trinity.
Gospel: John 3:16‑‑‑‑18
In this beautiful passage, Jesus tells Nicodemus that God
loved his people so much that he “gave his only son.” Jesus
reveals to Nicodemus that anyone who believes in him will
not die but will enjoy life with him for all eternity.

A FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON THE SUNDAY READINGS
HIS WORD TODAY by Rev. William J. Reilly
The Most Holy Trinity
June 7, 2020
“Having come down in a cloud, the Lord stood with Moses
there and proclaimed his name, ‘Lord.’ Thus the Lord
passed before him and cried out, ‘The Lord, the Lord, a
merciful and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in kind-
ness and fidelity.’ Moses then bowed down to the ground
in worship. Then he said, ‘If I find favor with you O Lord,
do come along in our company.’”
How exciting is the description of Moses’ encounter with
God. He reveals His name and we discover the attributes of
God – mercy, graciousness, kindly and faithful. It is no sur-
prise that there is an invitation to accompany his people on
their journey.
It is the gift of accompaniment which continues with us as
we encounter our God. The same characteristics from the
book of Exodus, are the driving force for us to grow in holi-
ness. As God revealed Himself to Moses He manifests Him-
self to us, for ‘God so loved the world He gave His only Son.’
