Day 1

Upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, make

your own way to the arrivals hall where you will be welcomed

by an andBeyond representative.

You will be driven to Eros Airport (Windhoek) for your scheduled

Scenic Air charter flight to the Sossusvlei area. The Namib

Desert is a world of vast spaces, endless horizons, dramatic

desertscapes and jagged mountain heights. (Approx. 1h15 mins)

Reconnect with yourself and with nature during your 3 night

stay at andBeyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge in a Suite with

ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes accommodation, three

meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and

beers, teas and coffees, refreshments on scenic nature drives,

laundry, emergency medical evacuation insurance, VAT,

transfers to and from the lodge airstrip. Activities includes: 1

morning Sossusvlei excursion, Living Dunes, Desert People,

Desert Rock, Desert Drive, Big Dune Walk, Stargazing and Self

Day 2

Depart on your Soar over Sossusvlei activity.

Hot Air Balloon flight OR 45 minute Scenic Helicopter flight:

(NOT VALID JULY & AUGUST)

Hot Air Balloon flight: At sunrise, in the world's oldest desert,

witness a spectacular hot air balloon inflation, and set out on

the flight of a lifetime.From the best platform, in the most

romantic way, soar with the winds for an hour, over the oceans

of sand and mountains, endless vistas of shadows and lights.

Your destination The Sossusvlei dunes or the splendour of the

desert. At landing, you come back to earth with an Out Of Africa

style Champagne breakfast set up in the middle of nowhere.

Your pilot will present you with a flight certificate before you

take a leisurely nature drive back to the pick-up point. It is an

experience like no other, the experience of a lifetime.

Scenic Helicopter flight: Take off from nearby the lodge and

soar over the vast expanse of the desert for an approximate 45

min helicopter flight. Hover over jagged mountain tops that

emerge from the shifting Namib dunes and soar over a

landscape that has remained unchanged for millions of years.

Dune Suite is ideal for families or groups of friends, who prefer

The guest area features floor to ceiling, frameless glass panels

that fold away to reveal unobstructed desert vistas. An inviting

central-island bar and comfortable sitting room allow for

convivial conversation, while a number of smaller spaces offer

a more intimate option. The interactive kitchen design allows

for guests to create their own dishes and menu should they wish

to. A fine selection of wines from an impressive walk-in wine

cellar complement sublime meals.

Other signature features include a one-of-a-kind gym, elevated

and ideally positioned to catch the desert sunrise while doing

an early-morning yoga session, or quick session on the treadmill

before breakfast. A two-part wellness centre offers a treatment

room and a private spa-bath, as well as a wet treatment room

with a shower and bath, complete with its own skylight for

early-evening stargazing. Desert adventures abound here, and

small-group, personalised guest activities are on offer. Options

include special-interest guided nature walks; scenic nature

drives; dune ecology activity; e-biking and hiking excursions;

San rock painting excursions and outings to the renowned

Sossusvlei and Deadvlei.
