Purpose of these operating instructions
The operating manual must be read and observed by all persons authorized to use, maintain, service or check the machine so that danger can be averted.
They describe the proper use of the Multipress ecO.
caution
Read and follow the operating instructions before commissioning.
Read and pay attention to the safety instructions and elements of risk.
Keep the operating instructions in a place that is freely-accessible for the operator's staff.
Symbols in the operating instruction text
Product description• The basic device comprises specially-developed
container technology with a press facility.
• Waste or re-useable materials are thrown into the 300-litre capacity loading apparatus.
• Access to this loading apparatus (weighing lock) is controlled by a magnetic-card system.
• Put the magnetic card into a card reader directly on the container. It will be drawn in automatically.
• The cover of the fill opening opens automatically.
• Throw in the waste and close the cover.
• The waste is weighed by a load cell and the weight is displayed on the reader module.
• The press procedure is initiated after confirmation by the customer.
• This procedure is recorded in the machine's electronics for later processing of the data.
• As the container is closed on all sides, there is almost no smell.

☞ Note
- ; • Enumeration
ec declaration of conformity
The CE mark to be attached by the manufacturer is external evidence of the conformity of the machine to the regulations of the machine directive and other relevant EC directives.
ec declaration of conformity❖ See Chapter 9.2 Annex (II)
On signing the EC declaration of conformity, the manufacturer declares that the machine put into circulation meets all relevant and fundamental health and safety requirements.
RegulationsIn addition to the instructions in these operating instructions, the general safety regulations and accident-prevention rules of the legislature have been taken into account.
The following apply for the federal Republic of Germany:Accident-prevention regulations VBG 1, VBG 4, VBG 5, VBG 12, VBG 121, VBG 125
inspections:Zh1/282.1: Principles for the inspection of vehicles by

Proper use
• The MULTIPRESS ECO is only intended for the compaction of waste.
• Any other use is considered to be improper.
• The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage resulting from this; the operator or user alone shall bear the risk.
caution
do not process any hazardous materials (explosive materials, containers with hazardous contents, etc.).
dispose of hazardous waste correctly.
Picture of the type plate
❒ Read off the dates and descriptions from the press container and enter them here.
• Procedure for declaration of conformity The MULTIPRESS ECO has undergone a procedure for
the declaration of conformity by a named EU office (e.g. Linz Weights and Measures Office). The declaration of conformity is valid for the whole of the EU area.
For all non-EU states, the valid national regulations of the respective country must be followed.
Due to different values of gravitational acceleration, the operation of the press container with weighing facility is only authorized in the specified gravitational-acceleration zone.
• Recalibration Prompt recalibration is the task of the operator or user.
The cycle time and the type of recalibration are subject to different regulations in individual states (follow national regulations).
• Pitch An accurate circular spirit level is attached to the
container, which displays the limits for the pitch of the weighing facility. The weighing facility may only be operated if the pitch is less that that determined by the graduated circles of the circular spirit level (1).
• debiting the waste fee Only measurement results that lie within the established
limits (minimum load ... and maximum load ... ) can be debited.

location- An appropriate power connection must be available.
❖ See "Technical Data"
☞ The power must only be connected by trained specialist staff.
- If the press container is to be set up in a generally-accessible area (e.g. housing areas), additional technical or organisational safety measures tailored to the individual case may be required.
- Protective devices must not be removed or disabled. For safety reasons, the necessary functional sequences must not be changed.
- If the press container is set up outside a closed room, the mains connection must be protected against short circuits by a residual current-operated device provided by the customer.
- There must be sufficient space available for the safe changing of the container.
❖ See "Technical Data"
When measuring out sufficient space, the room needed for the following must be taken into account:
- For filling the container
- For swinging out the lever arms
- For reversing by the transport vehicle
install❒ Set up the press container on solid ground in a horizontal
position or with a maximum pitch of 10 mm/m.
❒ important: Set up the container so that it can be taken away by the transport vehicle without any problems.
❒ Make a trial run with the transport vehicle.
❒ Access by the transport vehicle over solid subsoil (asphalt, concrete, paving stones ...)
❒ Set up the container so it is protected as much as possible from the weather.
☞ This is so that rainwater cannot penetrate the container.
This will prevent
- the weight increasing
- the formation of dirty waste water
- operation being impaired by snow or ice
❒ Correct the phase assignment (if the machine does not start correctly). Follow the error message "INCORRECT MAINS PHASE SEQUENCE" on the display. Turn the phase reverser through 180° using a screwdriver.

Repairs to the electrics and hydraulics may only be carried out by specialist staff.
cleaning☞ Cleaning intervals depend on the respective
conditions of use.
❒ When processing perishable materials, such as food, the container should be rinsed out with water after each emptying.
Recommendation: This cleaning can be done easily when in a tipped position on the transport vehicle.
❒ Check the sealing lip between the frame and the unloading door and clean if necessary. Replace any damaged sealing lips.
