My dear fellow exporters,

The Department of Commerce has requested members of EEPC India to give theirviews on how to increase India’s engineering exports to China. This is because Indiafaces the huge trade deficit with China and most of Indian engineering exports isconcentrated in one product – Copper Cathodes.

Accordingly, we request our members to kindly give their views/suggestions on thefollowing :

(i) Potential engineering goods that can be exported to China;

(ii) What are the steps that can be taken by the Government of India to promoteIndian engineering exports to China;

(iii) Suggestions for promotional programme for market penetration to China;

(iv) Any other issues that may be suggested by you.

You are requested to kindly provide us with your views/suggestions at the earliestby April 12, 2013 to [email protected]; [email protected] so that we cansuggest a strategy to the Department of Commerce for promoting engineeringexports to China.
