General characteristicsThe automatic transfer switch “ATK” is used for theautomatic changeover of the load from the “main line” toa “secondary line”.It is made of a single unit in an insulated housing andhas two outgoings for the “automatic” and/or “manual”control of contactors or circuit breakers.MANUAL CHANGEOVERThis mode consents to the manual changeover from onesource to another and viceversa.AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVERThis mode automatically enables the switching of twolines within a time period, adjustable between 0.5 and120 seconds.The control of the two line contactors or circuit breakersis achieved in a safe and reliable manner by means of asafety system with internal electromechanical interlockof the ATK unit.
