SenseofTouch–Weuseourhandstofeelbutitisourskinthatgivesusthesenseoftouch.Theskinisthelargestsenseorganofourbody.Thenerveendings,alsoknownasreceptors,arelocatedundertheskin.Thesereceptorsgivethebraininformationonwhatthebodyincontactwith.Themaintypesofnerveendingsareheat,coldpainandtouch.Somepartsofourbodiesaremoresensitivethanothers.Thisisbecausetheyhavemorereceptors.Forexample,ourtongueandfingertipsaremoresensitivethanotherpartsofthebody.

Wecanalsofeelifthingsareheavyorlight.However,wecannotdeterminetheexactweightofanobjectunlessweweighthemwithascale.
