The fully tested module comprises driver’s seat cushion and squabs, seat frame and mounts, double joystick controls, Instrument panel, switchgear, centre console switches and other driver controls, seat adjustment controls including hydraulics and and associated cables and harnesses. Cables, Harnesses, switchgear and mouldings, seat bases and electronics were bought in from JCB key designated suppliers. The scheduling, procurement, and full supply chain management and 803X project timing and introduction was all undertaken on behalf of JCB by Remploy Automotive’s SV team. The site is ISO9001, ISO14001 and PAS99 quality system accredited. The repeatable right- first-time Quality is ensured through Remploy’s pioneering ‘poka-yoke’ error proofing assembly processes.
