l Uninstalling SAPTM:Before you install SAPTM or SAPTMUI, note that you cannot uninstall ABAP add-ons!

l Required release:SAP NetWeaver 7.4

l You may not install the following components or try to install SAPTM in a system where thesecomponents are installed: BBPCRM, SAP_APPL, SCM, SRM_PLUS.

l Obtain the add-Ons SAPTM 120 and SAPTMUI 120The installation CD for SAPTM/SAPTMUI 120 is not automatically sent to all customers. Order theCD with material number 51046170 from your local subsidiary or download CD51046170 from SAPService Marketplace: http://service.sap.com/installations --> Browse our Download Catalog -->SAP Application Components --> SAP TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT --> SAP TM 9.1

l Load the CD on the host of your SAP NetWeaver 740

n Log on as user:

¡ Switch to the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> of your SAP system(usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). The

¡ Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.

n Unpack the SAR archive K-120AGINSAPTM.SAR present in the subfolder DATA on the CD usingthe following statement:

¡ The file CSR0120031469_0081429.PAT should now be in the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in.

¡ Use similar commands to Unpack the SAR archive K-120AGINSAPTMUI.SAR. The pat file:CSR0120031469_0081380.PAT should now be in the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in.

¡ The DVD containing the delta upgrade packages of the re-use components has the materialnumber:51046038. It can be downloaded from the download page for SAP TM 9.1

¡ There is a separate DVD for the Optimizer content. The material number of the DVD is51046912. It can be downloaded from the download page for SAP TM 9.1

4. Installing SAP TM 9.1

l Installation with transaction: SAINT

¡ If your system does not have the pre-requisite software components(see Chapter 2.)installed; then, you can install them in the same queue as SAPTM 120/SAPTMUI 120. But,before defining the queue, also kindly refer to the Installation Notes of the abovementioned components.

¡ User to be used.Log onto your system in client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL authorization. Do NOT use the SAP*or DDIC users.

¡ Load the add-on installation package.Call transaction SAINT and choose 'Load'. After the list of uploaded packages is displayed,you can return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT by choosing either F3 or 'Back'.

¡ Start the installation.Call transaction SAINT, choose 'Start', highlight the Add-On SAPTM/SAPTMUI 120, and choose'Continue'. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled,the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installationpackage, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages. To start theinstallation process, choose 'Continue'. For more information, call transaction SAINT andchoose 'Info' on the application toolbar.You may be prompted to enter a password. This password is provided below, in Section: 9

l Installation of SAPTM/SAPTMUI 120 by including SAPTM 120/SAPTM 9.1 in a Delta Upgrade withSoftware Update Manager.

¡ The general procedure for Enhancement Packages is described in the Enhancement PackageInstallation Guide.

5. Delta Upgrade to SAPTM 120 from a lower release of SAPTM.

l To know about the supported "Upgrade Paths", kindly refer to the Release Strategy Note: 1678998

l The SAR file: K-120AGINSAPTM.SAR is also relevant for a Delta Upgrade to TM 9.1

l Required SAP releases and add-on releases:

SAP NETWEAVER 7.4 and SAPTM 120

l Add-on SupplementWhen you upgrade an SAP release to SAP NETWEAVER 7.4, the system automatically recognizes thatan ABAP add-on is installed and it requests an additional CD or an upgrade package for the add-on. As a result, the ABAP add-on is also upgraded to the corresponding release during thestandard upgrade.CAUTION:If you upgrade an SAP system with the add-on: SAPTM to SAP Netweaver 7.4 without importing thedata contained on the upgrade CD with the material number 51046170 (IS_SELECT phase), the ABAPadd-on SAPTM no longer works after the upgrade. Since the status of the system is inconsistent,SAP can no longer accept any liability.

l Release of SAPTM 120 with Enhancement PackagesIf you want to include Enhancement Packages in the upgrade to SAP Netweaver 7.0, check releasestrategy note 1678998 in advance to find out if the add-on SAPTM with the relevant EnhancementPackage is released.

l In the initial release of your system, use the latest version of R3trans, tp, Kernel and SPAM.

l Importing additional component Support PackagesThe add-on SAPTM 120 is a non-modifying add-on. You can import support packages of pre-requisitecomponents that are higher than the levels mentioned in the import Condition.

l If you have downloaded the add-on upgrade package directly from SAP Service Marketplace, unpackit in the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in. The CSR0120031469_0081429.PAT file should be in the

6. Additional information about Delta Upgrade to SAP TM 9.1

l Phase BIND_PATCH:This displays which Support Packages are located in the <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in directory and can beincluded in the upgrade. Make sure that you include atleast the support packages mentioned inChapter: 2

l Error during DDIC Activation

¡ You might face the following error during phase: ACT_UPG, if the target stack is "SAPNetweaver 7.4 sp stack 04." You would not face this error if the target stack is "SAPNetweaver 7.4 sp stack 05" or higher.

¡ Kindly implement the note: 1859965 manually in the Shadow Instance to resolve the abovementioned error.

l Before starting the upgrade, make sure that the scheduled batch job forprogram /SCMTMS/PROCESS_TRIGGER_BGD runs at least once after all business users have logged offfrom the system with the lower release. Alternatively, you can execute the program once manuallyin the system with the lower release after all business users have logged off.

7. After you have installed SAPTM 120

l Post Installation Steps:

¡ Please activate the following Business Functions

/BCV/MAIN /BCV/MAIN_1 FND_SOA_REUSE_1 SCM_EHS_DG_CI_1 SCM_SAPTM_SCMB_FND SCM_SCMB_TM_FND1 SCM_SCMB_TR_NETWORK

¡ To enable SSO for local BSP calls using SAP GUI HTML Control, please refer the Note: 612670

¡ Check if all services in the following SICF paths are activated (with transaction SICF):

/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/scmtms (all TM WebDynpro UIs) /default_host/sap/bc/srt/xip/scmtms (only in case Web Service based

communication is required; not required if only PI based communication is used)

¡ Please follow the recommendations of Note: 1911687 --> SAP TM 9.1-Collection of notesrecommended to be implemented.

¡ Please make sure that the active model is created (IMG-Activity: SAP CustomizingImplementation Guide -> SAP Transportation Management -> Transportation Management -> Master Data -> Create Active Version and Model.)

¡ The parameter abap/shared_objects_size_MB should be changed from default value = 20MB to new= 250 MB in the default profile.

¡ Please check if all WebDynpro Services in the following node are activated (or else activatethem): TA SICFDefault host -> sap -> bc -> webdynpro -> scmtms

¡ In order to leverage the full functionality of Visual Business please make sure that all endusers have installed version VB 2.1 on their devices. More information on the installationof Visual Business 2.1 can be found in the help-portal:http://help.sap.com/visualbusiness21.

l Delivery Customizing:¡

Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may have to be copied to other clients.For more information, see Note 337623.

l Support Packages:

¡ After installation, install the available Support Packages (SPs) for SAPTM/SAPTMUI 120 inyour system. Download all available Support Packages from the SAP Software Center athttp://service.sap.com/patches and install them using transaction SPAM. Pay attention to any

specific points made in the relevant Support Package note.

l Generation errors:

¡ There are no generation errors as regards to either SAPTM 120 or SAPTMUI 120

l Batch Jobs

¡ after the installation is completed several periodic tasks have to be setup. This isrequired in order to assure a stable and fully functional operability. Follow the stepsdescribed in chapter "4.5 Periodic Tasks" in the Application Operations Guide for SAP TM 9.1which can be downloaded from this page: http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000763956&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&

You do not have to import a languagetransport separately.

l If you import a new standard language into your system after you install SAPTM/SAPTMUI 120, youmust manually ensure that the corresponding language-dependent part of the add-on is imported.For more information, see Note 195442.
