Symptom

When you confirm internal activities within repetitive manufacturing, the system generates the error message RU008 ("No operations exist in order &").

Reason and Prerequisites

The cost estimate used for the confirmation was created with a reference cost estimate. However, the referenced cost estimate was created with a costing variant which does not allow the update of the standard price. Result: The data on the operation required for the confirmation is saved in the database.

Solution

Only carry out a cost estimate for repetitive manufacturing materials by means of the reference cost estimate if the referenced cost estimate permits the update in the material master.
