A CHRISTMAS TALENarrator 1: It is a cold silent night at the North Pole. The stars are twinkling like little dancing

fairies. The bright moon is casting a magic light on the falling snow.

Narrator 2: The six fearless reindeer are eager to leave. Santas sleigh is full of wonderful

presents, presents that will make everybody happy.

Narrator 3: The Holy Christmas Eve has come. The children have sent nice letters to Santa Claus. He is still reading them. Look at him carefully! A big smile appears on his cheerful face while reading one of the letters.

Santa: Dear Santa Claus,

My name is Tim. I love and obey my parents. I never quarrel with my little sister Sue and

I share everything with her. The only present I want this year is just to see you. Please do

come, dear Santa!

Lots of love,

Tim.

PS. Please dont forget my mum, my dad, my sister and my dog Pip.

Oh, its the most touching letter I have ever received. I am coming dear Tim. Dash away,

my speedy reindeer! Look! Tims house is over there.Tim: Do all our dreams come true at Christmas, Mum?Mum: Sometimes they do.

Sue:Whats that big noise on the roof?

Whats he doing, for goodness sake? song

Dad: Ssh! Santa Claus is coming?

Tim: Hes coming down the chimney, hes coming!

Sue: Look! There he is!

Santa: Surprise! Surprise!

Dad: What a wonderful surprise, Santa Claus! Welcome to our house!

Mum: Are you the real Santa?

Santa: Of course I am, as big as life!

Tim: Am I dreaming?

Santa: No, you arent, dear Tim. Thank you for your lovely letter. You are the only child in the world who hasnt asked for a present for himself. Ive brought wonderful presents for everyone. Come and see!Narrator 1: While Santa gives his presents, a group of carol singers come along. They see Santa and want to recite some poems for him.Christmas poemsWhen its Christmas song

Santa: Thank you, my dear children. Merry Christmas to you!

Tim: Santa, can you tell us your secret, please? How is that in your sack of toys, you have plenty

for all the girls and boys in the world? It stays full and never empties, as you make your

way from house to house and from nation to nation, reaching them all.Santa: My dears, my secret will make you sadder and wiser. The truth is that my sack is magic. It holds millions of toys for my Christmas Eve ride. But even if I do visit each boy and girl, I do not leave all of them a gaily wrapped toy. Some homes are hungry, some are sad and bad, some ones are broken. Children there cry

and grieve. What should I leave there? Toys arent enough. So I give them a kiss and

pray together. This way they will be given the joy and the spirit of Christmas.

Its a very hard task, my little children, to give toys to some and to give prayers to others. But the prayers are the best gifts, the best gifts indeed. For God has a way of meeting each need.

Mum: You are so right, Santa! We should me more concerned about our friends, not just about the gifts beneath the Christmas tree. Weve also got a magic sack our heart. It is the center of light and love. It never gets empty and its full from the start!

Tim: Thank you, Santa for telling us your secret. And dont forget that our door is wide open

to you whenever you want to come.

Santa: Thank you, dear children. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dad: Now, children, youve heard Santa. Always be good and help the ones in need.

Tim & Sue: We will, we promise.

Mum: Hey, everybody. Lets sing some carols while the turkey gets roasted in the oven.

Angels song

Sue: We know some carols in Romanian, too. Would you like to hear them?

Mum: Please do!

Romanian carols.

Mum: My sweet children, its getting very late now. Its time we all went to bed.

Tim & Sue: Oh, no, not yet!

Dad: Tim, Sue! Listen to your mother! Well sing some more carols tomorrow.

Narrator 2: This was our Christmas show. We hope you liked and enjoyed the carols sent by our friends from Scotland. Thank you, Donna, for sending them to us. This way we feel

closer and keep alive the Christmas spirit all around the world.Narrator 3: Lets make an experiment. Mix the following ingredients well: LOVE, JOY,

MERCY and KINDNESS. Add a spoonful of HOPE every five minutes. Stir well for a

long time and leave it overnight.

You can drink it.

Merry Christmas to all!
