PARENTS: MANY OF THE TARGETS DON’T REQUIRE SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE

• 1. Evidence that they have tried to generate a list of possible topics• 2. Evidence that they have tried to turn this list

into a clear plan with at least 3 main topics• 3. That they written a brief introduction and a

brief conclusion• 4. The first sentence of each main paragraph /

section should indicate clearly what that paragraph will be about (topic sentence)
