Welcome to Fifty Point Conservation Area on Lake Ontario, a magnificent 80-hectare park with superb marina facilities in Stoney Creek. It's the place to be for a swim in Lake Ontario, family camping or a picnic for groups of any size. Visitors can also enjoy a fabulous lakefront view by walking our prome- nade or while relaxing at conveniently located benches and shaded areas. Welcome to FISHING Come test your luck in Lake Ontario or our newly naturalized fishing pond which is home to bass, perch and trout and is easily accessible by foot and a great spot for any introductory angler. Fishing in the Marina is prohibited. Fifty Point is proud to have one of the cleanest beaches on western Lake Ontario. Our beach is partially sand and stone. There is plenty of room to sprawl out and soak in the sun. Water is tested weekly during the summer. Adults: children are your responsibility. There are no lifeguards on duty. BIRDING Fifty Point is recognized as one of the bird watching hotspots in the Golden Horse- shoe. With a viewing platform over look- ing the water, birders can watch numerous ducks, gulls and waterfowl. Stroll the designated Bluebird Box Trail and see the birds in flight. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. During the summer months they also have hand scooped ice cream and snacks for those hot days. BOATING AND MARINA The marina is one of the best on western Lake Ontario, with docking space for 330 boats and a double boat launch. Other marina facilities include a fully serviced gas dock and pump-out station, visitor docks, hydro hook-ups, water, showers, washrooms, a laundromat and winter storage facilities. Fifty Point Marina has been honoured with the achievement of a Five Green Anchor Diamond rating under the Clean Marine program. CAMPING Fifty Point has 30 full service seasonal campsites and 40 full service overnight campsites that can be reserved 1 year in adance. Our comfort station is open for showers, washrooms and laundry facilities. Our campground is perfectly situated near the south shore of Lake Ontario allowing our campers access to the beach and salmon fishing from shore. Or take a day trip along the Niagara Escarpment and enjoy multiple wineries and fruit farms.
