Critical Reading and Critical Writing
A written composition that offers an analysis, interpretation, and/or evaluation of a text.It is usually intended for an academic audience, a critical essay often takes the form of an argument.

Compose a critical essay discussing plot, conflict, characters, perspective, and theme.
Use literary terms as defined in class in your composition.
