1. What’s a theme park?
*A theme park is a collection of rides , exhibitions or other attractions that are based on a common theme.
2. How many theme parks are mentioned in the passage ? And what are they?
* Five. They are the World Park , China Ethnic Cul-ture Park, Hong Kong Ocean Park, Disneyland in Cali- fornia and Universal Studios in Florida of the States.
3. What do theme parks have in common ?
* What they all have in common is that they combine fun with the opportunity to learn something .
4. What can people see and do in Ocean Park in Hong Kong?
* * They will find all the rides and attractions that can be found in most parks, but they will also find many opportunities to learn about life in ocean. They enjoy the rides at the Headland and then take the shuttle to the Lowland, where they can explore the past and examine giant footprints of the dinosaurs. They can also learn about coral and sharks at Dolphin University, look at the winged beauties in the Butterfly House or admire An An and Jia Jia, the two giant pandas.
