Solstice : noun (from the Latin solstitium, and sto, sisto, to stand)

The time of the year when the sun reaches its highest (or lowest) excursion with regard to the celestial equator. The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year. It is also the moment when the vine flowers develop.

A clear, bright pink robe.

An intense and indulgent nose opening on aromas of black cherries and peonies and accentuated by hints of liquorice and violets. A rich and complex expression giving an impression of depth.

A delicate and mineral mouth, tender yet warm. Ample and winey, with a velvety sensation enveloping the palate.

When pairing this Solstice cuvée with food, choose earthy, tender dishes such as Iberico ham, beef

tenderloin or creamy cheese such as the regional Langres or Soumaintrain. For an astounding

experience, why not serve this champagne in a carafe !
