Viterbo volleyball and V-Hawk X-treme will be offering a three-day volleyball camp this fall for middle school and high school ath-letes. The goal of these camps is to provide a tune-up on volleyball skills prior to the club volleyball season. The sessions will be similar to what club tryouts will be like and will give campers a preview of tryouts. Each session will focus on a different part of the game.

Middle School Camp

Camp Coaching Staff

The Viterbo University coaching staff, led by five-time conference coach of the year and two-time NAIA Midwest Region Coach of the Year Ryan DeLong, completed their 13th season this past fall. During their time, the V-Hawks have reached new heights and continually find themselves mentioned among the top 10 programs in the country. During the past 13 seasons, the V-Hawks have compiled a 434–128 overall record and a 98–15 conference record. They have won six Conference Championships and five conference tournament titles. Three out of the last four seasons, the V-Hawks have advanced to the NAIA National Semifinals and finished the season ranked in the top four in the country. The V-Hawk coaching staff has helped develop 51 First Team All-Conference players, 20 NAIA All-Americans, 10 Conference Liberos of the Year, six conference players of the year and three conference Setters of the Year.

Eric Kunick is assistant director for V-Hawk X-treme. He is in his 13th year as Viterbo assistant women’s volleyball coach, and eighth season as a lead coach for V-Hawk X-treme.

Dave Simon is Viterbo head men’s volley-ball coach, and is in his fifth season as an assistant women’s volleyball coach. This is his third season as a lead coach for V-Hawk X-treme.

Kelly Aspen has been with VHawk X-treme as a lead coach for the past five years and is entering her second year as director of vol-leyball operations for the Viterbo women’s volleyball and VHawk X-treme programs.
