Aims:› To promote the achievement of AFACT members in

the development of trade facilitation, e-business policies and activities, and initiatives for bridging digital divide in the Asia Pacific Region

Final e-Asia Awards 2015 Evaluation Panel

e-Asia Awards 2015 Evaluation Committee:› Dr. Eva Yueh, CSC Chair, Chinese Taipei › Mr. Hisanao Sugamata, TMC Chair, Japan › Mr. Mohammad Garakani Neghad › Ms. Azadeh Bagheri; AFACT Chair and AFACT Secretariat 2015, Iran › Mr. Yann Louis, Duval, UNESCAP Representative› Dr. Mahmood Zargar, General Secretary of AFACT › Mr Gong HoD of Chinese Taipei represented by Mr Morris H. Hsiao› Mr. Mitsuru Ishigaki, UN/CEFACT Rapporteur for Asia and the Pacific

and HoD of Japan › Mr. Anil Sinha, HoD of India› Four other experts from the host country (Mr Javadi Nia, Ms Kashani,

Ms Taj, Ms Ziaei All HoDs signed and submitted the recommended outstanding

projects of their awards categories by 31 Aug. 2015 for semi-final evaluation, which was held virtually through e-mail.

The entries for the 4 categories were received by e-Asia Awards Host Secretariat. These entries were reviewed by e-Asia Awards Secretariat for general eligibility, and then forwarded to EC members who also reviewed and assessed the proposals.

Based on the evaluation sheets received from all the EC members, the Secretariat chose 3 top ranked projects and prepared the short list as per merit.

These semi-finalist projects have been invited to attend the Final Evaluation to be held on Dec. 15 2015 in Tehran, Iran

2015 e-Asia contestants 12 projects from 4 countries have participated in this year contest → 11 finalists in 4 categories in order of the rank each project obtained in semi-final evaluation:

During the final evaluation, the leaders and/or representatives of semi-finalists have been requested to deliver their presentation to the EC. The EC members will make the final decision based on the oral presentation and supplemented materials.
