has a key role in Afghan's daily life.

successor to Muhammad, and as the first Imam. shia believes god has

mountainous central highland around Bamjan

Sunni religion Sunnies are a group people who followed Abu-
Bakr as a Leader,instead of Ali.

What is the difference? These two main sub-groups within Islam
initially stemmed not from spiritual differences, but political
ones

Tensions and conflicts between Shias and Sunnis are very
similar to those that have existed between Catholics and
Protestants.

What do they have in common? They both believe in Quran. Friday
is special day for worship.

How do they say prayers? - Be sure the area is clean and free
of impurities - Face the Qibla - Pray at the proper time(prayers
take place at very specific times)

We all believe in God. We are all equal. We are all just
humans.

Not all the Shia hate Sunni and not all Sunni hate Shia! We
should all live in peace!
