Radio Mobile Installation

• Radio Mobile file has 3 sub zip files which are - rmwcore.zip- rmwcore.zip

- Rmw1076eng.zip

- wmap.zip

• unzip those files to C:\Radio Mobile• unzip those files to C:\Radio Mobile

1. Right click on “rmwcore” and select “Extract files”, do this with the 2 other zip files.

2.Select “Radio Mobile” Folder on 2.Select “Radio Mobile” Folder on drive C that was created before extract all zip files.

3. Double click on “rmweng”

4. Radio Mobile Program

Use Google Earth pro. to identify radio station

• Google Earth can download from the internet.

• After select File > open. It isgoing to show .kml or .kmz file.Here has 2 .kml files. We need toselect “Ground Station”. Thenclick open.

• “Ground Station” file on Google Earth Pro.

• Select any station from Google Earth Pro. For example, select“Don Muang”. Right click on the goal station and select “copy”.

• Select File>Unit properties• Select Paste and you can see

unit1 is changed to the station we selected.

The another station, for example, Suvannabhum

airport station.

Now, you can change icon to any others you need.• Click on the + button near the

icon.icon.• It shows icon's window.• Then click OK

• Select File>Map properties• At “Elevation data source” , at first you must create new folder name “SRTM” in Radio Mobile folder on drive C.•Then select SRTM and browse to select “SRTM” folder on the first and the last blank of Elevation data source.blank of Elevation data source.

• Select station name on “select a unit”, for example, select Don Muang station.

• change height(km) in Size(km) as you need for example, change to 300. and change width and height in Size(pixel) for example change to 1000. then click “Extract”.

After that you will get this picture .

•Type ctrl+i to make it becomes to gray scale. We don’t need thatcolor picture.

1-Select “Grayscaled slope”

2-Change Contrast(%) to 0

3-ChangeBrightness(%) to 100100

4-Then click “Draw”.

•The above picture occurs when you click “Draw”.

•Click on “Show network” button to let program show station icon.

• Station shows

on the right picture.

How to CreateLine Of Sight (LOS) Profile

• Line of sight(LOS) by click “Visual coverage”.

• Shows “Visual coverage” window.

• Click on the blank of “Contour line” and now you can select color.

• When click on color, it • When click on color, it shows color window. You can select any color you need. Then click Ok.

• Setting Observer Sensor Height ie. 35 meters

• Setting Target Height above ground ie. 10,000 feet equal to
