The InsTITuTIon

A way from the hustle and bustle of the city, Dr. Paul’s Engineering College established in the year 1998 and it is located right on NH-66, 12 kms from Pondicherry and 150 kms from Chennai in 53 acres

of greenery. The year 2017, the journey of Dr. PAUL’S goes through 20th consecutive year. Through these years it has come a long way from starting four courses in B.E. in the inaugural year 1998, to successfully running 5 Bachelors’ and 5 Masters’ courses in Engineering and one in management studies.

The man behind this magnum opus called Dr. S.J.S Paul, founder of Pauls Educational Trust. He was a simple, humble, affable, kind-hearted gentleman. He was a leading industrialist in South India and also a syndicate Member of the Anna University, Chennai.

Presently the trust is running by young dynamic directors under the able guidance of Chairperson Dr. Mrs. Anbu Paul M.B.B.S., D.C.H with zeal of serving the society by providing quality education in Engineering and Nursing.

His solemn hope and earnest wish was that our diligent students shall bring honour and glory to our institution and be worthy citizens of our country. Let your days at Dr. Paul’s be highly rewarding!

about Civil engineering Department:

The Civil Engineering department is in function since 2009. The department is

also offering full time PG course in Structural Engineering. Qualified and well experienced faculty from reputed institutes are the driving force of the department.

The department has an excellent infrastructure facilities and well equipped laboratories. Seminars, Symposiums, Workshops, Guest lectures and Field visits are being organized often to share the advances in civil engineering. Experts from the construction industries are invited to discuss the advanced construction techniques as case studies. Students are encouraged to work on innovative topics for their final year project work.

The objective of the department is to inculcate and train the students with recent advances in Civil Engineering. Our alumni are working in India and abroad in reputed national and multinational organizations.

C omputer Science and Engineering Department was established in the year

1998 with an Under Graduate (UG) program. Post Graduate program (M.E) in CSE was started in the year 2007. The Department provides inclusive technology education to students. Laboratories are well equipped with novel computing facilities. The Department offers a wide range of practical training and exposure in hardware and software that are required in industry and trade applications. The Department has qualified, well experienced faculty with good track records. CSE department students are securing ranks in Anna University consistently for the past five years.

E lectronics and Communication Engineering department is an 18 years old department

in this institution. The department offers full time UG program in ECE and also a PG program in Communication Systems.
