1) Project U.S. Gates MES Project (2/2008 – 5/2012) as PM (a 8 people team)

Profile： U.S. gates is a supplement for vehicle manufactures, the company produces power transition

system.

- In this project, I managed a team, 8 people, (moreover need manage 3rd party Wonderware

engineers 2 people) to implement Wonderware system for Gates plant floors (13 plants in U.S.). I

need gather plant floor manager feedback, analysis the data to design new application module to

fulfill customer requirement. Moreover, need communicate to Wonderware provider to solve the

MES particular problem (performance, data correct, and availability).

- I need breakdown all system requirement to some reasonable tasks, and assign these tasks to my

team members, track WBS to make sure delivery on schedule. Sometime, I need play the technical

advisor role, to direct my team how to solve some complex problems.

- We used Wonderware MES production to improve the plant floor performance, make short the

plant production chain, and draft some lean plan for plant floor leader.
