Monster Notes
Prosecution (The State)
On Monday the 22nd of December of last year, at approximately 4:00 PM, James King and Bobo Evans enter a drugstore on 145th Street in Harlem. The purpose of the crime was to rob the drugstore. During the crime 55 year old store owner Alguinaldo Nesbitt was shot with his own gun and killed. Both money and 5 cartons of cigarettes were stolen. Steve Harmon was the accused lookout for the crew.
The Defense (Steve’s Attorney)
If you consider him innocent now, and by law you must, if you have not prejudged him, then the defense believes they can convince you that nothing the state (Prosecution) will produce will challenge that innocence.
The Defense
The Defense ask you the jury, is to look at Steve Harmon now and remember that at this moment the American system of justice demands that you consider him innocent. He is innocent until proven guilty.
