BEFORE GETTING STARTED

Before use, refer to the Battery section in the General Information category.

CHARGING THE PARROT BEBOP 2’S BATTERY1. Select the adapter (supplied) corresponding to your

country and connect it to the charger.

2. Connect the charging cable (supplied) to the charger.

3. Connect the battery to the charging cable and plug the charger into an available power outlet.

The indicator light is red during charging and then turns green when the battery is charged. The battery charging time is about 55 minutes. Flight time is approximately 25 minutes.

CHARGING THE PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2’S BATTERY1. Select the adapter for your country and attach it to

the charger.

2. Connect the Parrot Skycontroller 2 to the charger, and then plug the charger into the mains. The charge time is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes for 4 hours of use.

INSTALLING THE PROPELLERSInstall, then lock the propellers onto the motors of the Bebop 2 as indicated in (diagram 1) using the supplied propeller mounting tool (diagram 2). Please note that the propellers are not interchangeable, and must be installed correctly before operation.

INSTALLING THE PROPELLERSSlide the battery of the Bebop 2 forward until your hear click. The latch at the rear of the battery must be locked in the lower position (diagram 3).

DOWNLOAD THE FREEFLIGHT PRO APPLICATIONLogin to the App Store® or Google PlayTM and download the free FreeFlight Pro application to your smartphone or tablet.

CONNECTING TO THE PARROT BEBOP 2CONNECT THE PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2 TO YOUR PARROT BEBOP 21. Place the Parrot Bebop 2 on a flat surface.

2. Turn on your Parrot Bebop 2.

3. Press the Parrot Skycontroller 2’s On/Off button to turn it on.

4. Wait until the warning light is a steady green. > You are connected to the Parrot Bebop 2, and you can fly it.

Skycontroller 2.

You can rotate the holder to fit your smartphone’s dimensions. To do this, press on it and rotate it to the right.

2. Press the right button on the holder to fully open it.

3. Position your smartphone on the holder.

4. Tighten the holder on your smartphone.

6. Using your smartphone’s USB cable, connect your smartphone to the Parrot Skycontroller 2’s USB port.

5. Plug one end of your smartphone’s USB cable into the Parrot Skycontroller 2 and the other end into your smartphone.

> The FreeFlight Pro application will launch automa-tically on your smartphone.

6. In the FreeFlight Pro application, go to Fly & Film and

press . > FPV mode launches on your smartphone.

7. Centre your smartphone in relation to the dots on the drawer and block it on the central part of the drawer.

8. Close the drawer and slide it into the Parrot Cockpitglasses.

9. Adjust the strap of the Parrot Cockpitglasses on your head.

Note : Use the Parrot Skycontroller 2 to edit the FreeFlight Pro application’s settings when you are wearing Parrot Cockpitglasses.

TAKING OFFPress the button on the Parrot Skycontroller 2.

> The Parrot Bebop 2 takes off and stabilises at 2 meters above the ground waiting for a command.

FPV MODEUse See Through mode to see through the camera of your smartphone when you are wearing Parrot Cockpitglasses.

Press the right trigger on the Parrot Skycontroller 2 to switch from immersive view to See Through.

There are several display mode in Freeflight Pro application:

• Radar : Information about your Parrot Bebop 2 position.

• Telemetry : Distance between the pilot and the Parrot Bebop 2, altitude of the drone…

• Full Screen : Live video streaming from the front camera of the Parrot Bebop 2 without any other information.

> The Parrot Bebop 2 comes back towards its starting position. Once the Parrot Bebop 2 reaches its star-ting point, it remains at 2 meters above the ground.

Make sure you are in an open environment.

LANDINGTo land the Parrot Bebop 2, press the button on the Parrot Skycontroller 2.

Only use accessories specified by Parrot Drone SAS. If sand or dust gets into the Parrot Skycontroller 2, it may be irreparably da-maged and no longer function correctly. Do not expose the Parrot Skycontroller 2 to rain or sun for an extended period. Do not use this device near liquids. Risk of ingestion of small objects. The packaging is not part of the product and must be discarded as a safety measure.

PARROT COCKPITGLASSESThis device is not a toy. Only use the Parrot Cockpitglasses when you are flying a Parrot drone. Do not disassemble, change or repair your Parrot Cockpitglasses yourself. Make sure you are not close to people, objects, stairs, balconies, windows, fur-niture or any other item that you might hit when using the Parrot Cockpitglasses or immediately after their use. Do not hold sharp or dangerous objects when using Parrot Cockpitglasses. PARROT BEBOP 2The internal memory for video recording is limited to 29 minutes.

The Parrot Bebop 2 is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.The Parrot Bebop 2 is a model aircraft designed for recreational and leisure purposes. The pilot must always maintain direct visual contact with the Parrot Bebop 2 and monitor its trajectory. The Parrot Bebop 2 must be used in accor-dance with the civil aviation regulations in your country. You should only use the Parrot Bebop 2 in open spaces so that you can ensure the safety of people, animals and property at all times. There are some public places such as train stations, airports, etc., and roads where you may not be permitted to use your Parrot Bebop 2.During flight, the propellers of the Parrot Bebop 2 can cause injury to people and damage property. Do not touch the Parrot Bebop 2 while it is in flight! Wait until the propellers have completely stopped before handling the Parrot Bebop 2.Only use accessories specified by the manufacturer.Irreversible damage may be caused if sand or dust get into the Parrot Bebop 2. Should this occur, your drone may not function as intended.Do not use the Parrot Bebop 2 in adverse weather conditions such as rain, strong winds, and snow, or in poor visibility conditions, for example, at night.Keep the Parrot Bebop 2 away from high voltage power lines, buildings or any other potentially dangerous areas.Do not use this device near liquids. RISK OF SEIZURES (PARROT COCKPITGLASSES)For some people (about 1 in 4,000), strong light stimulation or a rapid succes-sion of images can cause severe dizziness, convulsions, epileptic seizures or a feeling of faintness, which can occur when watching television, playing video games or during a virtual reality experience, even if they have never felt such discomfort before or have no history of convulsions or epileptic seizures. These types of ailments are more common in children and young adults under the age of 20. Anyone who has suffered seizures, a loss of consciousness or other symptoms related to epilepsy should consult a doctor before using Parrot Cockpitglasses.

CHILDREN (PARROT COCKPITGLASSES)Parrot Cockpitglasses should not be used by children under the age of 14. Adults should supervise children (14 years of age or over) who use or have used Parrot Cockpitglasses to ensure the absence of symptoms such as those des-cribed above, and should limit the duration of use of Parrot Cockpitglasses by children and impose breaks.

WARNING REGARDING PRIVACY AND RESPECT FOR IMAGES OF PROPERTYRecording and broadcasting an individual’s image without their permission may constitute an invasion of privacy and you may be held liable. Ask permission before filming people, especially if you intend to keep your recordings and/or broadcast them. BATTERY (PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2/PARROT BEBOP 2)WARNING: Failure to follow all the instructions may result in serious injury, ir-reparable damage to the battery and may cause a fire, smoke or explosion. Always check the battery’s condition before charging or using it. Replace the battery if it has been dropped, or in case of odour, overheating, discolouration, deformation or leakage. Never use anything other than the approved LiPo char-ger to charge the battery. Always use a balancing charger for LiPo cells or a LiPo cell balancer. It is recommended that you do not to use any other charger than the one provided with the product. Never trickle charge or charge under 2.5 V per cell. The battery temperature must never exceed 60 °C (140 °F) otherwise the battery could be damaged or ignite. Never charge on a flammable surface, near flammable products or inside a vehicle (preferably place the battery in a non-flammable and non-conductive container). Never leave the battery unattended during the charging process. Never disassemble or modify the housing’s wiring, or puncture the cells. Always ensure that the charger output voltage corresponds to the voltage of the battery. Do not short circuit the batteries. Never expose the LiPo battery to moisture or direct sun-light, or store it in a place where temperatures could exceed 60 °C (car in the sun, for example). Always keep it out of reach of children.

CHARGER LA BATTERIE DU PARROT BEBOP 21. Sélectionnez la prise (fournie) correspondante à votre

2. Connectez le câble fourni au chargeur.

3. Branchez la batterie au câble du chargeur puis branchez le chargeur sur le secteur.

Le voyant lumineux est rouge pendant la charge puis passe au vert lorsque la batterie est chargée. Le temps de charge de la batterie est d’environ 55 minutes. Le temps de vol est d’environ 25 minutes.

BATTERIE (PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2 ET PARROT BEBOP 2)ATTENTION : Le non-respect de l’ensemble des instructions peut provoquer des blessures graves, endommager de façon irréversible la batterie et provo-quer un incendie, un dégagement de fumée ou une explosion. Toujours vérifier l’état de la batterie avant de la charger ou de l’utiliser. Rempla-cer la batterie si elle a subi un choc, ou en cas d’odeur, de surchauffe, de déco-loration, de déformation ou de fuite. Ne jamais rien utiliser pour charger la bat-terie à l’exception d’un chargeur approuvé LiPo. Toujours utiliser un chargeur à équilibrage de cellules LiPo ou un équilibreur de cellules LiPo. Il est recom-mandé de ne pas utiliser un autre chargeur que celui fourni avec le produit. Ne jamais effectuer de chargement à régime lent, ou en dessous de 3 V par cellule. CARGA DE LA BATERÍA DEL PARROT BEBOP 21. Seleccionar el adaptador correspondiente al país y

conectarlo al cargador.

2. Conectar el cable al cargador.

3. Conectar la batería al cable del cargador y enchufar el cargador a una toma de corriente.

Aparecerá una luz roja mientras está cargando que pasará a verde cuando la batería esté cargada. La batería tarda en cargarse unos 55 minutos. El tiempo de vuelo es de aproximadamente 25 minutos.

CARGA DE LA BATERÍA DEL PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 21. Selecciona el adaptador (incluido) que se corresponda

a tu país y enchúfalo al transformador.

2. Conecta la batería del Parrot Skycontroller 2 al cargador (incluido) y enchufa el cargador a la corriente. El tiempo de la carga ronda 1 h 40 min para 4 horas de uso.

BATERÍA (PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2/PARROT BEBOP 2)ADVERTENCIA: El incumplimiento de estas instrucciones puede provocar le-siones graves, dañar la batería de manera irreversible y provocar un incendio, emanación de humo o explosión. Recuerda comprobar siempre el estado de la batería antes de cargarla o uti-lizarla. Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet die Anzeige rot auf und wechselt auf grün, sobald die Batterie vollständig aufgeladen wurde. Die Ladezeit der Batterie beträgt ungefähr 55 Minuten. Die Flugzeit beträgt ungefähr 25 Minuten.

AKKU (PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2/PARROT BEBOP 2)VORSICHT: Die Nichtbeachtung der Anweisungen kann schwere Verletzun-gen zur Folge haben, den Akku unwiderruflich beschädigen und einen Brand auslösen, Rauchentwicklung oder eine Explosion verursachen. Den Zustand des Akkus immer kontrollieren, bevor er geladen oder verwen-det wird. Den Akku austauschen, wenn er heruntergefallen ist, ungewöhnlich riecht, sich überhitzt, verfärbt oder verformt ist bzw. ausläuft. Verwenden Sie immer einen für LiPo-Akkus zugelassenes Ladegerät. Verwenden Sie immer ein Ladegerät mit Ausgleichsregler für LiPo-Zellen oder einen LiPo-Zellenbalancer. Es wird empfohlen, nur das mit dem Gerät gelieferte Ladegerät zu verwenden. Führen Sie niemals Ladungen im langsamen Vorgang bzw. unter 2,5 V pro Zelle durch. Die Temperatur des Akkus darf keinesfalls 60°C (140°F) übersteigen, an-dernfalls könnte der Akku beschädigt werden oder Feuer fangen. Führen Sie die Ladung niemals auf einer brennbaren Fläche, in der Nähe von brennba-ren Stoffen oder in einem Fahrzeug durch (legen Sie den Akku vorzugsweise in einen nicht brennbaren und nichtleitenden Behälter). Lassen Sie den Akku während des Ladevorgangs niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Nehmen Sie die Gehäu-severkabelung niemals auseinander, und verändern Sie sie auch nicht. Beschä-digen Sie die Zellen nicht. Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass die Ausgangsspan-nung des Ladegeräts mit der Spannung des Akkus übereinstimmt. Die Akkus

CARICARE LA BATTERIA DEL PARROT BEBOP 21. Selezionare l’adattatore corrispondente al proprio

paese e collegarlo al caricabatteria.

2. Collegare l’apposito cavo al caricabatteria.

3. Collegare la batteria al cavo e quindi inserire il caricabatteria in una presa di corrente.

La spia luminosa è rossa durante la ricarica, mentre diventa verde quanto la batteria è carica. Il tempo di ricarica della batteria è di circa 55 minuti. Il tempo di volo è di circa 25 minuti.

CARICARE LA BATTERIA DEL PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 21. Seleziona l’adattatore (in dotazione) per il tuo paese

e collegalo al caricatore.

2. Collega la batteria del Parrot Skycontroller 2 al caricatore (in dotazione) e collega il caricatore alla rete elettrica. Il tempo di ricarica è di circa 1:40 per 4 ore di utilizzo.

BATTERIA (PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2/PARROT BEBOP 2)ATTENZIONE: Il mancato rispetto di tutte le istruzioni può causare lesioni gravi, danneggiare in maniera irreversibile la batteria e provocare un incendio, fumo o un’esplosione. Verifica sempre lo stato della batteria prima di caricarla o utilizzarla. Sostituisci la batteria se ha subito un urto o in caso di odore, surriscaldamento, scolori-mento, deformazione o perdite. Non usare mai nulla per caricare la batteria ad eccezione di un caricatore approvato LiPo. Usa sempre un caricatore a bilan-ciamento di celle LiPo o un equilibratore di celle LiPo. INLEIDING

Voor elk gebruik dient u het onderdeel Batterij in de rubriek Algemene Informatie te raadplegen.

LAAD DE BATTERIJ OP VAN DE PARROT BEBOP 21. Steek de voor uw land geschikte adapter in de oplader.

2. Sluit de kabel aan op de oplader.

3. Sluit de kabel aan op de batterij en steek de oplader in het stopcontact. Het controlelampje brandt rood tijdens het opladen. Na afloop van het opladen wordt het lampje groen. Het opladen van de batterij duurt ongevuur 55 minuten. De vliegtijd bedraagt ongeveer 25 minuten.

LAAD DE BATTERIJ OP VAN DE PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 21. Selecteer de adapter (meegeleverd) geschikt voor

uw land en sluit deze aan op de oplader.

2. Sluit de batterij van de Parrot Skycontroller 2 aan op de oplader (meegeleverd) en steek dan de oplader in het stopcontact. Het opladen duurt ongeveer 1u40, daarna kan het apparaat 4 uur gebruikt worden.

9. Stel de band van de Parrot Cockpitglasses af en zet de bril op uw hoofd.

Opmerking: gebruik de Parrot Skycontroller 2 om de instellingen van de FreeFlight Pro-applicatie te wijzigen terwijl u de Parrot Cockpitglasses draagt.

OPSTIJGEN Druk op de knop van de Parrot Skycontroller 2.

> De Parrot Bebop 2 stijgt op en blijft 2 meter boven de grond hangen in afwachting van het volgende bevel.

FPVGebruik de Directe Weergave-modus om via de camera van uw smartphone te kijken terwijl u de Parrot Cockpitglasses draagt.

Druk op de rechterknop van de Parrot Skycontroller 2 om van Immersieve Weergave naar Directe Weergave te gaan.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUDPARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2De Parrot Skycontroller 2 moet gebruikt worden voor het besturen van de Bebop Drone, de Parrot Bebop 2 en de Parrot Disco en is niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 14.Raadpleeg de lijst met drones die compatibel zijn met de Parrot Skycontroller 2 op de Helppagina op www.parrot.com. Gebruik alleen accessoires die door Parrot Drones SAS aanbevolen worden. Als zand of stof in de Parrot Skycontroller 2 komt, kan het zijn dat het apparaat permanent beschadigd is en dus niet meer goed functioneert. Stel de Parrot Skycontroller 2 niet bloot aan regen en laat de machine niet te lang in de zon staan. Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de buurt van vloeistoffen. Inslikkingsgevaar van kleine onderdelen. De verpakkingen maken geen deel uit van het product en dienen te worden weggegooid.

BATTERIJ (PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 2/PARROT BEBOP 2)PAS OP: Het niet naleven van al deze instructies kan ernstig letsel veroorzaken, de batterij permanent beschadigen en brand, rook of een ontploffing veroor-zaken. CARREGAR A BATERIA DO PARROT BEBOP 21. Selecione o adaptador (fornecido) que corresponde

ao seu país e ligue-o ao carregador.

2. Ligue o cabo do carregador (fornecido) ao carregador.

3. Ligue a bateria ao cabo do carregador e ligue o carregador à rede elétrica. O indicador luminoso fica vermelho durante a carga e passa a verde quando a bateria está carregada. O tempo de carga da bateria é de cerca de 55 minutos. O tempo de voo é de aproximadamente 25 minutos.

CARREGAR A BATERIA DO PARROT SKYCONTROLLER 21. Selecione o adaptador (fornecido) correspondente

ao seu país e fixe-o ao carregador.

2. Conecte a bateria do Parrot Skycontroller 2 ao carregador (fornecido) e, em seguida, conecte o carregador à tomada elétrica. O tempo de carregamento é de cerca de 1h40 para 4 horas de utilização.
