由烏托邦資產管理有限公司擔任冠名贊助，以及WKK Travel全力支持的「東華三院誌友共聚慈善音樂會」，已於2月22日假灣仔伊利沙伯體育館圓滿舉行，本院邀得醫院管理局行政總裁梁栢賢醫生太平紳士親臨主禮。是次音樂會所得收益將撥捐「東華三院樂儀癌病治療資助基金」，為有臨床需要及合符資格的病人，提供政府安全網未能資助的癌病治療，讓患者及家屬在危急徬徨中得到適切的支援。

音樂會匯集了多位歌手及名人嘉賓摯友參與演出，包括汪明荃小姐、草蜢、張敬軒先生、關淑怡小姐、梁詠琪小姐、許廷鏗先生、吳業坤先生、王灝兒小姐、袁偉豪先生、鄭融小姐、黃劍文先生、關楚耀先生、伍富橋先生、陳志雲先生、王祖藍先生、卓韻芝小姐、方健儀小姐、黎芷珊小姐、陳貝兒小姐等，全場座無虛席，場面熱鬧。

東華三院董事局及冠名贊助人已贊助是項活動的直接開支，不會從活動籌得的公眾善款中扣除行政費用，確保公眾善款全數撥用於本院服務。

TWGHs Forever Friends Charity ShowWith Infinitus Partners Asset Management Limited as the Title Sponsor, and WKK Travel as the full supporting organisation, “TWGHs Forever Friends Charity Show” was successfully held on 22 February 2019 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai, officiated by Dr. LEUNG Pak Yin, JP, Chief Executive of Hospital Authority. The proceeds of the Charity Show will be fully donated to “TWGHs MK Cancer Treatment Subsidy Fund” in support of qualified patients with clinical needs to receive medications and cancer treatments not covered by the Government’s safety net, so as to ease the anxiety and provide the much needed cares for patients and their family members.

The full-house show gathered many singer and celebrities, such as Ms. Liza WANG, the Grasshopper, Mr. Hins CHEUNG, Ms. Shirley KWAN, Ms. Gigi LEUNG, Mr. Alfred HUI, Mr. James NG, JW, Mr. Benjamin YUEN, Ms. Stephanie CHENG, Mr. Kimman WONG, Mr. Kelvin KWAN, Mr. Alvin NG, Mr. Stephen CHAN, Mr. WONG Cho Lam, Ms. Vincci CHEUK, Ms. Akina FONG, Ms. Luisa Maria LEITAO, Ms. Janis CHAN and etc.

All direct expenses of the event have been sponsored by TWGHs Board of Directors and Title Sponsor. No administrative costs will be deducted from the donations of the general public to ensure that all public donations will go directly to our services.

Chairman’s MessageTWGHs held the annual Spring Reception on the Spring Lantern Festival (the fifteenth day of the first lunar month). On that day, loud and festive sound of gongs and drums could be heard at the forecourt of TWGHs Administration Headquarters. I joined the other Board Members to extend season’s greetings to members of the Advisory Board, former chairmen and directors, guests, friends and media guests. At the start of this new lunar year, I, on behalf of every one of TWGHs, would like to wish everyone all the health, success and happiness in the Year of the Pig.

Great benevolence is rooted in the “heart”! Following “Tung Wah Charity Gala”, TWGHs and I have specially organised another large-scale fundraising event, namely, the “IPAM presents · WKK Travel fully supports: TWGHs Forever Friends Charity Show”, which was successfully held on 22 February 2019 with cheers and applause. There was a full house at Queen Elizabeth Stadium on that spectacular evening. A number of kind-hearted artistes, singers and performing guests presented marvellous songs, witty dialogues and touching moments, sparing no efforts in entertaining the audience and raising funds for the “TWGHs MK Cancer Treatment Subsidy Fund”. And I could not be much more happier to see the active participation of TWGHs representatives. Among others, a band composed by our Advisors and Former Chairmen performed some popular songs; students from TWGHs schools were joined by singers to sing their school anthems; and children from TWGHs kindergartens and young beneficiaries from service units danced with joy and vigour to the performances of different singers, reflecting TWGHs’ spirit of perseverance and team work. We hope that the show provided the audience with not only fabulous entertainment but also a better understanding of our diversified services.

I also valued the chance to collaborate with “UPBEAT”, TWGHs’ young old A Cappella group, to perform a number of well-known songs. We had practised and rehearsed many times beforehand. Thanks to the attentiveness and unparalleled enthusiasm of the young elders, we managed to establish rapport within a short time and present a smooth performance. Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to all the chivalrous artistes, performers, representatives of service units and support teams of TWGHs, as well as all the generous benefactors!

As time flies, there is only a month left for my term as Chairman. TWGHs and I will continue to serve the Hong Kong community with “heart and soul”. With great solidarity in the TWGHs team, we have officially launched a number of services in response to the needs of various groups, including: “TWGHs The Oasis Youth Co-working Space”, which provides office space and software support for start-ups and young entrepreneurs at preferential rents; “Engage”, which supports young old’s efforts to continue giving back to the community; “Yiu Tung Community Kitchen”, a community canteen offering delicious and affordable food to the elders in need of support; “TWGHs Lee Yen & Lee Yuk Lun, BBS, JP, Father & Son Lohas Villa”, the Group’s first supported hostel for the mentally and physically disabled; and “TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre (Sha Tin)”, which provides counselling and related services for students in need. I attended the opening ceremonies of all such service units aforementioned, not only for showing support to our frontline colleagues, but also for understanding and ensuring the best care and assistance for our service recipients in a proactive manner.

Indeed, TWGHs has been able to develop and advance its medical, education and community services, thanks to the great support of our benefactors, business partners and the general public. Please continue to support TWGHs and join us to deliver warmth and care to the needy. And let’s pull our “hearts” out and work together to make Hong Kong a city full of love.

本院於正月十五日舉行每年一度的春節團拜活動，當天東華三院行政總部前庭響起喜慶的鑼鼓聲，到處洋溢著熱鬧歡欣的氣氛。我聯同董事局全體成員向顧問局成員、前主席及總理、各位嘉賓、友好及傳媒朋友送上新春祝福。一年伊始，我謹此代表東華三院仝人，恭祝大家在豬年萬事如意、生活安康、笑口常開。

行善，在「心」！繼「歡樂滿東華」後，我與本院團隊再度籌劃的大型籌款活動「烏托邦資產管理有限公司呈獻．WKK Travel全力支持：東華三院誌友共聚慈善音樂會」，已於2月22日在歡呼聲和掌聲中圓滿舉行。當晚伊利沙伯體育館內座無虛席，一眾充滿善心的藝人、歌手及表演嘉賓在舞台上施展渾身解數，相繼送上精彩絕倫的歌舞、妙語如珠的對談及激盪人心的真情分享，戮力為「東華三院樂儀癌病治療資助基金」籌募經費，令在場觀眾都觀賞得十分投入。此外，我更樂見本院的代表積極參與演出，包括由顧問及歷屆主席組成的樂隊獻唱多首金曲，學生代表與歌手合唱東華三院校歌，更有幼稚園學生和服務單位的受惠青少年，分別以愉快活潑及幹勁十足的舞蹈配合多位歌手演出，盡顯本院不撓的東華團隊精神。我們期望透過這次音樂會，讓歡眾既能盡情享受視聽之娛，亦能對本院的多元化服務有更深刻的了解。

我亦十分珍惜能有機會與東華三院年輕長者無伴奏合唱小組「UPBEAT」合作，獻唱多首大家耳熟能詳的名曲。事前我們反覆練習和綵排，有賴各位年輕老友記細心的配合和無比的熱誠，讓我們在短時間內培養出默契，順利完成演出。我在此再次感謝各位為善舉義不容辭的藝人、表演嘉賓、各東華三院服務單位代表及支援團隊，以及眾多慷慨解囊的善長！

時光飛逝，我的主席任期只餘下一個月，但我與本院「用心」服務香港社會的步伐絕不會慢下來。我與東華三院團隊上下一心，在月內正式開辦多項服務，當中包括以優惠租金為初創企業和青年創業家提供辦公空間及軟件支援的「東華三院The Oasis青年共享空間」、支持年輕長者繼續回饋社會的「越齡」、為有需要的長者提供價廉味美膳食的社區飯堂「膳東軒」、本院首間專為智障及殘疾人士而設的輔助宿舍「東華三院李恩李鋈麟父子樂活熙庭」、以及為有需要學生提供輔導及有關服務的「何玉清教育心理服務中心（沙田）」等，回應不同社群的需要。我親身出席上述各服務單位的開幕禮，除了為前線同事打氣，亦身體力行去了解及確保各服務水平，務使本院的服務使用者得到最適切的照顧與幫助。

本院能夠持續發展其醫療、教育和社會服務，並不時推陳出新，實在有賴各位善長、企業伙伴和市民大眾多年來鼎力襄助。我由衷期望你們繼續支持東華三院，攜手用「心」為有需要的社群送上温暖，讓全城愛心滿載。

TWGHs Spring ReceptionThe Group’s Board of Directors TWGHs Spring Reception was held on 19 February 2019 at the Administration Headquarters of TWGHs. Members of the Advisory Board, Former Chairmen and Directors were invited to the gathering to celebrate the Lunar New Year. They took the opportunity to greet staff members of the Group and all other participants, sharing the joy of the Spring Festival. Following the tradition, Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, and other Board Members participated in an array of traditional rites, cutting the roasted pig and dotting the eyes for Lion Dance to launch the Reception.

北京市政協副主席楊藝文女士率領訪問團於去年底到訪東華三院，並由蔡榮星副主席及高級職員陪同參觀東華醫院禮堂。訪問團並到訪東華三院賽馬會松朗安老綜合中心，期間楊藝文女士更試玩了為長者而設的嶄新虛擬互動足球遊戲，與院友進行了一場友誼球賽。

The Delegation of Beijing Municipal Committee, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Visited TWGHsLed by Ms. YANG Yiwen, Vice-Chairman of Beijing Municipal Committee, the Delegation of Beijing Municipal Committee, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference visited TWGHs and the Assembly Hall of Tung Wah Hospital, accompanied by Dr. TSOI Wing Sing, Ken, Vice-Chairman, and senior staff of the Group. The Delegation also visited TWGHs Jockey Club Sunshine Complex for the Elderly, where Ms. YANG Yiwen tried the innovative virtual interactive soccer game designed for elders and played a friendly match with the residents of the Complex.

為加強和推動京港兩地中醫藥醫教研的合作交流，本院與北京市中醫管理局於1月22日在北京簽訂合作協議。王賢誌主席率領本院代表團出席簽約儀式，並邀得國醫大師劉敏如教授，以及北京中醫藥文化立體傳播聯盟成員單位代表出席見證。本院將與北京市中醫管理局共同支持國醫大師劉敏如教授設立聯合工作室，以推廣兩地婦女健康服務，亦加強醫療、科學研究、人才培養、學術交流等方面的合作。此外，管理局亦鼎力支持本院參與成立中醫院及廣華醫院中醫病房的計劃。

TWGHs Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese MedicineTo enhance and cultivate the study and exchange of Traditional Chinese Medicine between Beijing and Hong Kong, TWGHs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on 22 January 2019 in Beijing. Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, led a delegation of the Group and signed the MoU under the witness of Prof. LIU Minru, National Traditional Chinese Medicine Master, and representatives from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Communication Alliance. Under the MoU, the 2 parties will jointly support the establishment of a Joint Workstation for Prof. LIU Minru, National Traditional Chinese Medicine Master, to promote women’s health services in Hong Kong and Beijing and to collaborate in the areas of medicine, scientific research, talent nurturing and academic exchange between the two cities. The Administration is also committed to supporting TWGHs in the establishment of a Chinese Medicine Hospital and a Chinese Medicine Ward in Kwong Wah Hospital.

東華三院學生大使溫哥華參訪團總結分享會於2月16日在東華三院黃笏南中學禮堂順利舉行，獲主席兼名譽校監王賢誌先生與多位董事局成員出席支持。席間28位學生大使分享了於溫哥華的體驗和故事，而王賢誌主席更勉勵同學，並謹記參訪團所學到的堅毅不屈精神，以面對未來的重重考驗。在分享會上，出席者更一同欣賞由溫哥華新時代電視台為參訪團拍攝、經王賢誌主席特意安排於ViuTV作電視首播的《東華學生大使FUN享加國之旅》特輯，重溫旅程中的點點滴滴。

Concluding Day of TWGHs Student Ambassador Tour to VancouverThe Concluding Day of TWGHs Student Ambassador Tour to Vancouver was held on 16 February 2019 at the School Hall of TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College. Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman cum Honorary Supervisor, and several Board Members attended the Event to show their support. During the Event, 28 Student Ambassadors shared their experiences and stories of the Tour to Vancouver. Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, encouraged the students to bear the perseverance they learned from the Tour in mind so as to meet challenges ahead. The TV special of the Tour produced by Fairchild TV in Vancouver, entitled TWGHs Student Ambassador Tour to Vancouver, was broadcasted by ViuTV under the arrangement of Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman. Participants of the Event enjoyed the TV premiere together, taking a trip down memory lane.

東華三院去年獲邀參與政府推行的「青年共享空間計劃」，承蒙旭日集團有限公司及瀝洋集團有限公司支持該計劃，出租旗下單位，讓本院於觀塘瀝洋開設「東華三院The Oasis青年共享空間」，並於2月27日舉行開幕典禮，邀得民政事務局局長劉江華太平紳士擔任主禮嘉賓，一同主持開幕儀式。The Oasis以優惠的租金為初創企業和青年創業家提供超過100張私人及流動辦公桌，並提供企業培訓等支援服務，以鼓勵更多青年人參與社會創新和發展社會企業項目，以創意回應社會需要。

Opening Ceremony of “TWGHs The Oasis Youth Co-working Space”TWGHs was invited to participate in the “Space Sharing Scheme for Youth” of the Government last year.Thanks to the support towards the Scheme from Glorious Sun Entreprises Limited and Rays The Glorious (Holdings) Limited by leasing out its units, the Group launches “TWGHs The Oasis Co-working Space” at The Rays, Kwun Tong. The Opening Ceremony was held on 27 February 2019, and officiated by the Hon. LAU Kong Wah, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs. The Oasis provides over 100 personal and mobile office desks and supportive trainings in entrepreneurship for young entrepreneurs and start-ups at concessionary rents. It aims to encourage young people to engage in social innovation and social entreprise development, so as to respond to community needs via their creativity.

本院屬下社會企業iBakery主打使用無添加食材製作優質的烘焙產品。為進一步提升產品質素，自2011年起，iBakery特邀台灣無添加烘焙大師王傳仁老師每年來港一星期，為其烘焙團隊提供培訓。王傳仁老師今年2月10至16日再次來港傳授製作無添加麵包技術及介紹新產品，並舉行試食會以推廣無添加麵包。在王老師的指導下，iBakery全線麵包產品均採用「宵種法」方法生產，團隊的烘焙技術亦精益求精，對做麵包的熱誠也逐年增加。

iBakery’s Annual Meeting with Master WANG Chuan JeniBakery, one of TWGHs’ social entreprises, features non-additive ingredients in their baking products. In order to further enhance the quality of its products, iBakery has invited Master WANG Chuan Jen, a renowned Taiwanese baker in non-additive baking, to spend a week once a year in Hong Kong since 2011, for the purpose of training up its baking team. This year, Master WANG visited Hong Kong from 10 to 16 February 2019. He passed on the baking skills of non-additive bread, introduced new products to the team, and organised a food tasting event to promote additive-free bread. Under the guidance of Master Wang, iBakery is able to adopt the “Proofing Method” in the production of its baking products. 本院於1月31日為東華三院何超蕸檔案及文物中心「東風破數碼工作室」及「蔡榮月修復室」舉行命名典禮，邀得署理康樂及文化事務署副署長（文化）陳承緯先生擔任主禮嘉賓。王賢誌主席於典禮上代表東華三院感謝己丑年主席李三元博士及企業家蔡榮月小姐，分別捐款64萬元及50萬元支持「東華三院檔案及歷史文化基金」，讓中心開展1950至1980年代董事局會議紀錄的修復及數碼化計劃。本院將繼續舉辦更多公眾講座及學校教育活動，讓市民大眾尤其是下一代認識香港及其珍貴的歷史文化，同時亦將繼續致力於文化傳承工作現代化，透過數碼技術為珍貴的檔案文獻注入生命，由靜置於檔案庫的紙張，躍然存活在電子媒介中。

Naming Ceremony of TWGHs Maisy Ho Archives and Relics Centre “Merry-Go-Round Digital Studio” and “Willy Tsoi Wing Yuet Conservation Room”Officiated by Mr. CHAN Shing Wai, Acting Deputy Director of Leisure & Cultural Services (Culture), the Naming Ceremony of TWGHs Maisy Ho Archives and Relics Centre “Merry-Go-Round Digital Studio” and “Willy Tsoi Wing Yuet Conservation Room” was held on 31 January 2019. On behalf of TWGHs, Mr Vinci WONG, the Chairman, expressed his gratitude for the generous donations of $640,000 and $500,000 from Dr. LEE Sam Yuen, John, Chairman 2009/2010 and Ms. TSOI Wing Yuet, Willy, respectively towards the “TWGHs Heritage Fund”. The Archives and Relics Centre will launch a new project to conserve and digitise the minutes of the Board of Directors meetings from 1950s to 1980s. Meanwhile, the Group will continue to organise more public talks and school education activities to enable the public, especially the next generation, to have a better understanding of Hong Kong and its precious history and culture. Also, the Group will continue to strive for the modernisation of cultural heritage through digital technology, so that the relics will be enlivened, from documentary records lying silently in an archive to lively, assessable information on electronic media.

為回應社會對智障及肢體傷殘人士院舍服務的殷切需求，本院特於沙田水泉澳邨設立首家專為該類人士而設的輔助宿舍。荷蒙東華三院戊戌年顧問暨丁酉年主席李鋈麟博士BBS太平紳士慷慨捐出400萬元，以資助東華三院的復康服務，本院特將該宿舍命名為「東華三院李恩李鋈麟父子樂活熙庭」，以彰盛德，並於2月28日為該宿舍舉行開幕典禮，邀得社會福利署副署長（服務）林嘉泰太平紳士蒞臨主禮。該宿舍提供31個宿舍名額，除家庭式住宿照顧服務外，亦會為舍友安排不同類型的生活技能訓練及社交康樂活動，讓他們能實踐「快樂自主，用心生活」的理念。

Opening Ceremony of “TWGHs Lee Yen & Lee Yuk Lun, BBS, JP, Father & Son Lohas Villa”In response to the community’s strong demand for residential care services for people with intellectual and physical disabilities, the Group established its first supported hostel designated for these people in Shui Chuen O Estate, Sha Tin. In appreciation of the generous donation of $4 million from Dr. LEE Yuk Lun, BBS, JP, Member of the Advisory Board 2018/2019 cum Chairman 2017/2018, in support of TWGHs’ rehabilitation services, the Hostel has been named as “TWGHs Lee Yen & Lee Yuk Lun, BBS, JP, Father & Son Lohas Villa”. The Opening Ceremony of the Hostel was held on 28 February 2019, and officiated by Mr. LAM Ka Tai, JP, Deputy Director of Social Welfare (Services). The Hostel provides a total of 31 places with family-style residential care services, various types of life skill training, as well as social and recreational activities for the residents, allowing them to practise a “happy and independent life”.

位於筲箕灣的東華三院越齡是本院首間為年輕長者而設的服務發展中心，於2017年12月投入服務，為年輕長者提供一個專屬的平台，並透過多元化、具自我挑戰性及緊貼潮流的活動，讓年輕長者繼續發展潛能，並貢獻社會。中心現有會員人數已超過400人，他們不但突破年齡界限，與兒童及青少年一同參與團體活動及義工服務，更會到不同的中小學進行生命分享，與學生暢談人生智慧。此外，中心設有別緻的小型咖啡閣、富文化氣息的休憩空間和配備先進音響的多功能活動室，以支援不同的學習工作坊、藝術活動或音樂表演。

東華三院越齡於2月17日舉行開幕典禮，邀得社會福利署助理署長（安老服務）陳德義先生蒞臨主禮。由越齡會員組成、全港首隊年輕長者無伴奏樂隊UPBEAT，更聯同王賢誌主席在開幕典禮上獻唱，把現場氣氛推至高峰。

Opening Ceremony of TWGHs EngageLaunched in December 2017, TWGHs Engage, located at Shau Kei Wan, is the Group’s first young old service development centre, serving as a designated platform for the young olds. Through the provision of diverse, self-challenging and trendy activities, young old members are encouraged to further develop their potentials for self-improvement and contribution to the society. The Centre has attracted over 400 members who not only break age boundaries by taking part in group activities and volunteering services with children and teenagers, but also conduct life experience talks at different secondary and primary schools, sharing with students their own wisdom of life. In addition, the Centre features a stylish coffee bar, a cosy seating area, and multi-functional rooms with advanced audio-visual equipment where different learning workshops, artistic performances and music activities can be conducted.

The Opening Ceremony of TWGHs Engage was held on 17 February 2019, with Mr. TAN Tick Yee, Assistant Director (Elderly) of the Social Welfare Department as the officiating guest. Hong Kong first ever young old A Capella singing group UPBEAT formed by members of TWGHs Engage sang along with Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, at the Opening Ceremony, bringing the Event to its climax.

本院一直致力關顧長者生活所需，為他們提供適切的服務。承蒙紀研設計有限公司贊助裝修及設備費用，以及董事局撥款資助營運費用，本院於筲箕灣耀東邨開設的「膳東軒」於去年11月正式投入服務。本院於2月17日舉行開幕典禮，邀得社會福利署助理署長（安老服務）陳德義先生及善長陳進歡先生在王賢誌主席陪同下主持開幕儀式。「膳東軒」為區內有經濟困難或缺乏支援的60歲或以上長者，提供健康、有營養及價格便宜的午餐及晚餐。王賢誌主席及董事局成員更於當日派發愛心湯予長者，讓活動洋溢著關愛及歡樂的氣氛。

Opening Ceremony of TWGHs “Yiu Tung Community Kitchen”TWGHs has always been keen on caring for the needs of the elders by providing them with the much needed services. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from the AD Design and Contracting Limited for the renovation and equipment costs, as well as allocation for the operation cost by the Board

of Directors, “Yiu Tung Community Kitchen” was put into operation at Yiu Tung Estate, Shau Kei Wan in November 2018. The Opening Ceremony was held on 17 February 2019, with Mr. TAN Tick Yee, Assistant Director (Elderly) of Social Welfare Department and Mr. Andy CHAN, Donor, accompanied by Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, officiating. “Yiu Tung Community Kitchen” provides healthy, nutritious, and affordable lunch and dinner for the elders of age 60 or above who have financial difficulties or lack of support in the area. Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, and other Board Members doled out nourishing soup to elders on that day, which made the event full of love and joy.

為照顧有不同需要的學童，本院新開設的東華三院何玉清教育心理服務中心（沙田）已於1月正式投入服務，並於2月23日舉行開幕典禮，邀得王賢誌主席親臨主禮。中心由一支跨專業團隊主理，成員包括教育心理學家、臨床心理學家及社工等，為自閉症、專注力不足、過度活躍症及有情緒困擾的學生提供輔導及支援服務。此外，中心亦透過緊密的合作網絡，照顧學童在心理及學習上的需要，並會定期舉辦家長講座及教師專業培訓，全面提供適切的支援。

Opening Ceremony of TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Services Centre (Sha Tin) To cater students with diverse needs, the Group established the new TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Services Centre (Sha Tin). The Centre was put into operation in January 2019, and officially opened on 23 February 2019 with Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, officiating. The Centre boasts a multi-professional team composed of experts in education psychology, clinical psychology, social work and other related professions to provide counselling and supportive services for autistic, attention deficit, hyper-active and emotionally disturbed students. In addition, the Centre cares for the emotional and academic needs of students through a wide range of cooperative network, and hosts regular seminars and trainings for parents and teachers to provide all kinds of appropriate assistance.

為感謝蕭馮蕙瑩女士的慷慨捐助，以支持本院的教育服務，東華三院馬錦燦紀念小學將清城路校舍室外操場命名為「馮黃鳳亭紀念操場」，並於2月18日在學校禮堂舉行命名典禮，邀得教育局總學校發展主任（北區）林祟潔女士擔任主禮嘉賓。經馮敬安總理轉介，蕭馮蕙瑩女士捐出110萬元支持學校的建設及發展，包括增添校園設施，而其中30萬元善款將用以設立為期5年的「馮黃鳳亭運動發展基金」，提供體育專項培訓及獎學金，鼓勵具有體育潛能的同學發展所長。

Director, Mrs. SIOW FUNG Wai Ying donated $1.1 million for the construction and development of the School including setting up new school facilities, in which $300,000 will be used to establish a 5-year “Fung Wong Fung Ting Best of the Best Sports Scheme Funds”, providing specialised sports training and scholarships to encourage students with sports talents to further develop their potentials.

為嘉許在過去3年積極與東華三院合作的企業、政府部門和專業團體的義工伙伴，及表揚他們對社會的貢獻，本院於1月30日在香港康得思酒店舉行「東華三院企業伙伴合作嘉許典禮2019」，邀得勞工及福利局副局長徐英偉太平紳士主禮，並以「義樂．共享」為主題，寓意本院會繼續與企業伙伴及專業團體加強合作，召集更多義工為社會帶來充沛的活力和豐富的資源。

本院於1月12日在香港大學舉行「初中SEN學生生涯規劃的服務成效研究」發布會暨「『21世紀的生涯規劃服務』– 從初中特殊學習需要學生的啟示」專業論壇，獲近100位來自教育界及社福界的嘉賓出席。

本院早前委託香港大學教育學院融合與特殊教育研究發展中心，就為期2年、旨在為有特殊學習需要學生提供生涯規劃服務的「『SUN涯』領航計劃」進行成效調查，結果發現超過7成參加者認為該計劃有助提升其維繫健康人際關係及規劃人生和事業的信心。參加者於專業論壇上，總結應及早為SEN學生提供個別化的生涯規劃服務、加強跨專業協作及經營正面的校園氣氛，亦為家長提供輔導以調整他們對SEN學生的合理期望。

本院一直致力鼓勵年輕人勇於創新，展現藝術才華。於2月23日假觀塘發現號03舉行的「『Dare to Care! Youth Arts Fiesta』青少年藝術在社區2018/2019年度大匯演」正是箇中例子。在開幕儀式上，來自東九龍4所中學的視藝科學生以跨媒體藝術方式呈現活動主題「Dare to Care」。主禮嘉賓社會福利署助理署長（青年及感化服務）郭李夢儀女士和王賢誌主席，更與青年一起演奏敲擊樂，以激昂節拍為青年人打氣。本院屬下各區青少年綜合服務中心的青年樂隊、舞蹈及劍球團體隨後接力獻上連串精彩表演，並由本地樂隊RubberBand擔任壓軸表演嘉賓，為活動劃上完美句號。

“Dare to Care! Youth Arts Fiesta” Youth Art in Community 2018/19 Finale ShowThe Group has been committed to encouraging young people to be innovative in showing their artistic talents. A case in point was the “‘Dare To Care! Youth Arts Fiesta’ 2018/2019 Finale Show” held on 23 February 2019 at Vessel 03 in Kwun Tong. During the Opening Ceremony, visual arts students from 4 secondary schools from the East Kowloon District presented the event theme “Dare to Care” through cross-media art. Officiating guests included Mrs. KWOK LI Mung Yee, Helen, Assistant Director (Youth and Corrections), Social Welfare Department, and Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, played the percussions with the teens, cheering them up through powerful beats. Youth bands, dance and Kendama groups from various TWGHs Integrated Service Centres then joined the relay, and showcased a series of wonderful performances. Local band RubberBand was the special

guest for the grand finale performance, providing the perfect ending to the Show.

自2012年起，本院於行政總部的綠化天台闢設有機耕作園地，每年推行「有機農夫體驗活動」，藉以宣揚珍惜食物資源及推廣綠色生活。新一年度「有機農夫體驗活動」已於2019年1月開展，共有42位員工成為有機農夫。去年的天氣雖不利農作物生長，但在有機農夫悉心種植下仍有不錯的收穫。有機農夫透過「有機耕作經驗分享摘錄」，記錄耕作心得及建議不同季節種植的品種，並上傳到東華三院的「邁向綠色機構」網頁，將有機耕作的知識薪火相傳。

TWGHs Administration Headquarters “Organic Farmer Programme”The green roof of the TWGHs Administration Headquarters has been converted to an organic farm since 2012, with the “Organic Farmer Programme” implemented every year, so as to promote the green virtue of cherishing food. The “Organic Farmer Programme” for 2019 commenced in January, with a total of 42 staff members enrolled as organic farmers. Although the weather condition last year was not favourable for farming, most of our organic farmers obtained fruitful harvest resulting from their special care to the crops. “Organic Farming Experience Sharing Extract” was uploaded to TWGHs “Moving Towards a Green Organisation” webpage, for organic farmers to pass on their organic farming skills and suggestions for crops to plant in different seasons.

TWGHs Corporate Partnership Recognition Ceremony 2019To show recognition to and commend the dedication of the volunteering partners from corporations, government departments and professional associations that have been actively collaborating with the Group over the past 3 years, “TWGHs Corporate Partnership Recognition Ceremony 2019” was held on 30 January 2019 at Cordis Hong Kong, with Mr. TSUI Ying Wai, Caspar, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, as the officiating guest. The theme of the Ceremony was “Share Joy, Volunteering”, implying that the Group will continue to strengthen the close co-operation with its partnering organisations, and recruit more volunteers to bring uplifting energy and ample resources to the community.

Conference cum Professional Forum on “Helping SEN Junior Form Secondary School Students on Career and Life Planning Services”TWGHs held the Conference on “Helping SEN Junior Form Secondary School Students on Career and Life Planning Services” cum Professional Forum titled “‘Life Planning Service in 21st Century’ – An inspiration from SEN Junior Form

Secondary School Students” on 12 January 2019 at The University of Hong Kong. Nearly 100 participants from the education and social services sectors were invited to attend.

The Group commissioned the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education of the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong, to conduct a study on the effectiveness of the 2-year “‘SUN Life’ Navigation Project”, which aimed at supporting students with special education needs (SEN) with career and life planning services. Results showed that over 70% of the participating students claimed that the Project helped enhance a healthy interpersonal relationship and boost their confidence in planning their lives and career. On the Forum, participants concluded that career and life planning for SEN students should start as early as possible, focus more on cross-disciplinary collaboration and create a positive learning environment in schools. Moreover, it should provide support for parents to adjust their expectation towards SEN students.
