  • The legislative assistant recently was in Southeast Asia, one of his companions became sick. There were moments of considerable worry until a bilingual interpreter was found who "saved the day.". He now is very interested in learning more about medical interpreting, as well as the prospects for TN being able to use Medicaid funding for language services reimbursement.
