Sincerity
The Qur’anic Words Nasahuu
And Nasuuha means sincerity
One must be sincere in this
thought and deeds
Sincere in seeking advice
Sincere to giving advice
Sincere to put the advice in
practice
Advice
The word ‘Naseeha’ means
advice. And this word is used for
sincerity as well.
Any advice without sincerity
is not advice at all!
Sincerity and Advice are
deeply connected
One will be meaningless
without the other.
Sincerity and Advice are

• Sincerity is needed: It should avoid hypocrisy, libel, mockery and mistrust.
• It should address a clear, uncontroversial issue
• The person giving advice should be a knowledgeable person in the matter he is giving sincere advice on & should be qualified to do so.
•The person giving sincere advice must apply the advice to himself.
• Choose appropriate place, time and conditions to give a sincere advice.
• Respect the privacy of the person receiving advice; Advice shouldn’t be given publicly.
• Show leniency, flexibility and use good words to advice.

Qur‟an appreciates those who Listen and follow the Advice:
“Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding”. (Surah Az-Zumar)
