ONLY FOR INTERNAL CIRCULATION

Entrepreneurs can be of any age, sex, region, religion and can come from anywhere. As far as I know they do not wear

any uniform or carry any membership card of an entrepreneurship club. The main objective for writing this article is to

aware students about the post scenario of their education at college. Students are doing bachelor degree in engineering

from reputed institutes; still they are not able to get good jobs as per their requirements. However, if some students

manage to get certain job, still they have to wait for a long time to achieve certain appreciable position or designation in

that particular organization. My question to engineering students is: “Why to wait for such a long period to achieve a

good position to work for others”? Students should start developing entrepreneurial skills in them just from the incep-

tion of their duration at college. They learn many new things in their course of study which they can apply to act and

work as an entrepreneur and can even provide better jobs to others also. “Why to be a Job Seeker, when you can be a

Job Provider”? With this objective, I would like to suggest certain points to the students-the way entrepreneurs think

and act:

Recognize opportunities

Comfortable in risk taking

Creative and Innovative

Future oriented

Flexible and Adaptable

Initiator and Self-directed

Critical thinker and Problem solver

Communicate and Collaborate

If the students keep these points always in their mind while getting their education, they may be definitely benefited

and can be a good entrepreneur who can even benefit the society also.
