We are here with submitting the scope specified in some of 6 lane project of NHA1 & summarizing as tabulatedbelow for a better clarity.

• As there is a difference in understanding the CA provisions between the TL office and us, we have gone through the provisions with other 6 lane projects under execution in NHAI.

• In the given table, locations of street lighting are indicated village wise and on the Bypass with specific locations. The total length of main carriageway indicated there in is 31.610 Km. Since there is an arithmetical error, the correct total works out to 30.71 Km. Further, out of these specified locations, the total length of the locations of Service Road indicated in Schedule-B, which blends I merges with that of locations specified in Schedule -C is only 20.621 km.

• Further, Schedule-C under para 2.3 (b) Street lighting specifies as "Provide Street lighting for Service road and Main carriageway at locations specified in Table 2.3(b y·

• The Concessionaire's obligation of Providing street lighting for Service road and Main carriageway are limited to 2.3 (b) of schedule-C.

Further, we earnestly request the Independent Engineer to please assess the obligations of the Concessionaire and to take up the matter with the Authority for issue of Change of Scope Notice, for any additional quantity required beyond the obligations of the Concessionaire.

In view of the above, we disagree with the decision of the Team Leader communicated in the letter cited under reference.

As 20.671 Km service Road only proposed in the Chainges given in the table 2.3(b), under per the provisions of the Concession Agreement, the obligation of the Concessionaire limits to in providing street lighting for Service road 20.621 Km only and Main carriageway 30. 71 Km respectively.

• But in our Concessionaire Agreement under schedule C Table 2.3(b) it is specified that the Concessionaire shall provide Street lighting for Service road and Main carriage way at locations specified in the table.

ii) W-beam metal Crash Barners shall be provided on the outer side of carriageway wherever the embankment height is more than 3m and wherever there are retaining wall and toe wall on the outer side of the carriageway. Concrete Crash Barriers shall be provided on the outer side of the carriageway in the approaches of flyovers and major bridges and on both the side of carriageways in the approaches of major bridge wherever the new bridge is at an offset away from the old bridge location and also in flyovers and major bridges.

(c) The existing Metal Beam Crash barriers shall be removed carefully and will be used for replacing the damaged W beams.

(i) Delineators bollards and other safety devices shall be provided on all horizontal curves on either side of the carriageway as per design standards indicated in Schedule D and other locations as directed by IE.

(ii) Guard post shall be provided on either side of the carriageway, at location where embankment height varies between 2 to 3m as per design standards indicated in Schedule D.

Highway shall be as per the design standard indicated in Schedule-D and the location for various treatments shall be finalized in consultation with_ the Independent Engineer.

(b) Guard Rails and Traffic Safety Devices (i) For the safety of pedestrians at the Junctions, the guardrails shall be provided to enhance the safety in
