) From CeBIT,HannoverMesse toBIO-
TECHNICA— trade fairs are not only tech-
nology showcases and commercial plat-
forms, but also vehicles for business expan-
sion. hannoverimpuls therefore actively
participates in national and international
shows concentrating on its focus sectors,
to jointly market Hannover with coopera-
tion partners.
hannoverimpuls provides associated com-
panies and competition winners with op-
portunities to showcase their products and
services “Made in Hannover”. Participation
at international trade fairs is also profitable.
An example: the Turkish chip manufacturer
Eclipse. The initial contact at “CeBIT Bilisim
Eurasia” in Istanbul developed into a relo-
cation – the company has been operating
from the Hannover Technology Center
since 2007.

tion and Telecommunications Technologies
(MSPITT), it advises Russian companies in
the German market and vice versa.

cess of the concept.
) German-TurkishBusinessForum(DTWF)

motes business relations between Hannover

) WachstumsImpuls
Grasping internationalization as an active
growth strategy is the principle behind the
competition “WachstumsImpuls 2008”. This
targets companies which have existed for at
least three years, with up to 250 employees,
and have an international expansion strat-
egy. The focus is on rapid concept imple-
mentation: internationalization underwrites
market leadership and generates jobs.
) InnovationsAmpel
The online innovation check “Innovations-
Ampel” arose from the growth competitions
promoting growth and innovation in 2006
and 2007. It only takes 40 minutes for users
to evaluate their business innovation poten-
tial. It’s free of charge, unconditional and
anonymous. The analysis is based on a de-
tailed questionnaire, and helps, for instance,
assess the market opportunities of an idea.
At the end of the check, a matching funding
program and consultation offers can also be
identified upon request.

) Strategicbusinessdevelopment
Strategic business development also means:
hannoverimpuls initiating projects which
continue successfully in the medium term as
self-sufficient organizations. Examples are
the Project Centers and the training organi-
zation “hannoverimpuls Ausbildung e.V.”
hannoverimpuls creates and supports net-
works. The close integration of industry,
science and potential partners within these
networks creates ideal conditions for fur-
ther growth in the focus sectors.
