Both can be held during school day, at lunch, before school, after school

Office Organized Events

Cal SOAP staff leads event Team of staff assigned to work One person will take lead role = give presentation

Introduce other staff present Use team effort to answer any questions during presentation

All staff will assist as needed Staff check in / handout table Work with site to make sure seating is available Assist with computer equipment

ALL STAFF SHOULD BE IN ROOM DURING FULL EVENT After presentation all staff should be available to answer

follow up questions

Cal SOAP Financial Aid Night

Refer to staff calendar for details Be prepared to give presentation - things happen and you

may end up being the main speaker Materials - one staff member will be assigned to pick up

crate of materials for event. That same staff member should return left over items and SIGN IN SHEETS to the office the day after the event.

Presentations - Will be available on staff website, but bring a copy on flash drive just in case.

Computer / Projector - Most sites will provide. If needed, equipment will be included in the materials crate. Bring your own lap top just in case.

Is event C4C 1 or C4C 2 Be ready to launch computers - review directions before you

get to the site. No presentations - If site asks, make the call. Families will show up unprepared or think they are there for

an informational workshop Use team effort to work with families. Be ready to help with both FAFSA and Dream App Be sure students complete survey Materials - one staff member will be assigned to pick up at

office and return SIGN IN SHEETS to the office the day after the event.
