Objectives/background• Expro was approached to provide a lowCAPEX, fast-track production solution for asizeable onshore gas development based ona modular early production facility (EPF)suitable for a 15+ years life

• This would be delivered on a Lease, Operateand Maintain (LOM) basis, to strict localregulations covering safety, equipmentcertification and local content restrictions

• This was delivered in Assam, a remote areaof India with limited infrastructure

• The customer challenged Expro withdelivering a bespoke solution that wouldachieve these objectives, processing up to 35mmscf/day of gas, 800 bpd of condensateand 1000 bpd of produced water

Expro Excellence• Expro successfully delivered a turnkeysolution for Assam’s first Modular GasProcessing Plant (MGPP)

• Expro’s track record and experience ensuredall equipment was successfully mobilised tosite in just 10 months. This compares to atypical delivery of up to 36 months for apurchased Engineering, Procurement andConstruction (EPC) contract for a similaroperator owned facility

• Expro’s in-country team collaborated with thecompany’s global product and procurementteams to deliver a bespoke package

including: gas processing equipment,produced water treatment, condensatestorage, tanker loading facilities, metering,control system, power generation, firewatersystem and other supporting utilities

• A comprehensive local recruitment andtraining programme was delivered in parallel,with 100% local content, supported centrallyby Expro’s dedicated Learning andDevelopment team

Value to client• The fast-track bespoke production solutionallowed the customer to monetise its gas andcondensate production from the field viaexport to a near-by sales and processingfacility

• Monetising hydrocarbons within 1-2 yearsallowed the customer to focus on productionrelated aspects of their wells as opposed tomanaging surface facilities

• All equipment packages were provided asmodular container-sized units for ease oftransportation, on-site installation and hook-up, which can be further adapted ifproduction or processing requirementschange over time

• The turnkey approach for process equipmentrequired minimal customer projectmanagement and operations teams withExpro managing all aspects from design todelivery
