Bonus Points
There will be opportunities for bonus points.› I will not give any bonus points the
last week of school because your grade is low right before report cards. Just turn in your work.
› There may be questions on the board worth bonus points. The answers must be in the box on my desk before the bell rings.
› I will not accept answers for bonus questions after the bell rings
Bonus Points
You may also receive bonus points if you catch a spelling or grammatical mistake that I make.
I will make the class aware of any other bonus opportunities throughout the year.
Re-doing assignments
Any assignment receiving a 60% or below can be redone for half the missed credit.› Example- You made a 50% on a paper.
You redo it and get a 95%. It will raise your grade to a 73%.
› Please get approval from Mrs. Cook prior to redoing your work.

Things that irritate Mrs. Cook
Please do not use the words “gay” or “retarted” in my class. I find these words unacceptable!
Do not touch my iPod! Leave things on my desk alone! Do not touch the thermostat. If
you feel it needs adjusting, please let me know and I will make arrangements if necessary.
More things that irritate Mrs. Cook
Please keep our classroom environment clean. I will never come to your house and make a mess.
No smacking gum. You may have gum as long as I do not hear it or see it anywhere.
Value the room. I worked hard to make a visually stimulating room. Please don’t wreck it.
Do not write on my board
