Before You Start•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperaturesorwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.

Getting Started•Insertthesuppliedkeysintotheslotsasshown,andslidetheunitoutofthemounting

sleeve.•Installmountingsleeveintoopening,bendingtabstosecure.•Connectwiringharnessandantenna.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianifyouareunsure.•Testforcorrectoperationandslideintothemountingsleevetosecure.•Snaptrimringintoplace.

General OperationPress RELEASEandpullawayfromtheleftsidetoremove.Tore-install,insertrightsideoffaceplatefirstthenpushleftsidetosecure.

Press  or any other button toturntheuniton.Press againtoturntheunitoff.

Press MODE toselectbetweenAM/FM,USB,SDorauxiliaryinputmodes.Modesofoperationareindicatedinthedisplay.SDandUSBmodeswillnotappearunlessanSDCardisinsertedoraUSBdeviceisconnected.

Theradiofrequency(tunermode)orMP3/WMAtitle/trackinformation(USBandSDmodes)willbeshownbydefault.Press DISPtodisplaytheclock.Thedefaultdisplaywillreturn after five seconds.

WheninUSBorSDmode,pressINFOtoselectbetweentheMP3/WMAinformation,includingfilename,songtitle,artistname,albumnameandfoldername.

Press RESETuponinitialinstallationorifabnormaloperationoccurs.Resetbuttonislocatedbehindthefrontpanel.

Press DISP todisplaytheclock,thenpressandholdDISP untilthehourswillflash.Rotatethevolume knobtoadjustthehours.Pressthevolume knob,andtheminuteswillflash.Rotatethevolume knobtoadjusttheminutes.

Inserta3.5mmconnectorinthefrontpanelAUXport.Connecttheotherendofthe3.5mmconnectortotheheadphoneoutputofanaudiodevice,MP3player,etc.

Adjustvolumeusingthe volume knob(00-40).

Press EQtoselectbetweenthefollowingpresetequalizationcurves:FLAT,POP,JAZZ,ROCKandOFF.

Note:AbilitytomanuallyadjustBassandTreblesettingsisdisabledwhenapresetequalizationcurveisselected.SettingequalizationcurvestoOFFenablesmanualBassandTrebleadjustmentsasoutlinedonpage7.

General OperationPressthevolume knobtoselectbetweenBass,Treble,Balance,Fader,Loudness,DistanceandStereo.

Pressthevolume knob until BASappears.Rotatethevolume knobleft/righttoadjust.(-7minimum/+7maximum)

Pressthevolume knob until TRE appears.Rotatethevolume knobleft/righttoadjust.(-7minimum/+7maximum)

Pressthevolume knob until BALappears.Rotatethevolume knobleft/righttoadjust.10L (left)to10R(right)."L=R"representsequalbalance.

Pressthevolume knob until FADappears.Rotatethevolume knobleft/righttoadjust.10R(rear)to10F(front)"F=R"representsequalbalance.

Pressthevolume knob until LOUD ON or LOUD OFFappears,thenrotatethevolume knobtoselectdesiredoption.Activatingthisfeaturewillenhancethebassandtreblefrequencieswhenlisteningtomusicatlowvolumes.

Fromtunermodeonly,pressthevolume knob until DX or LOCALappears,thenrotatethevolume knob to select desiredoption.SelectingLOCALprogramstheunittostopatonlystrongstationswhenseektuning.

Fromtunermodeonly,pressthevolume knob until STEREO or MONOappears,thenrotatethevolume knob to select desiredoption.SelectingMONOcanimprovelisteninginareaswithaweakFMsignal.

Pressandholdthevolume knobuntilBEEPONorBEEPOFFappears,thenrotatethe volume knob to select desired option.Activatingthisfeatureprogramstheunittobeepeachtimecertainbuttonsarepressed.

Fromtunermodeonly,pressandholdthevolume knob untilBEEPONorBEEPOFFappears.Pressthevolume knob againtodisplayAREAUSAorAREAEURO,thenrotatethevolume knobtoselectoptionappropriateforyourlocation.

Theclockwilldisplay12-hourAM/PMtimeinUSAfrequencyspacingmode(PM10.00).InEuropeanfrequencyspacingmode,theclockwilldisplay24-hourtime(22.00).

Press TUNE nn or TUNE llmomentarilytochangeoneradiofrequencyatatime.Pressandholdtoadvancequickly.

Press BANDtoselectbetweenFM1,FM2,FM3andAM1,AM2bands.Sixpresetscanbesavedineachband.

Upto18FMstationsand12AMstationscanbestored.Tostoreastation,selectthedesiredbandandstation.Pressandholdthedesiredpresetbuttonformorethan2seconds.Whenstored,thepresetnumberwillappearinthedisplay.Thestationcanberecalledanytimebypressingthecorrespondingpresetbutton.

Press AS/PSformorethan2secondstoautomaticallystoreallstrongeststationsinthecurrentband.

Afterthesixstrongeststationsareset,ascanofeachstoredpresetwillbegin.PressAS/PS or TRACK ll to cancel.

Press AS/PSmomentarilytoscanpresetstationsforfivesecondseach.Toselectastationduringthescan,press AS/PSagainorpressthecorrespondingpresetbutton.

SD Card / USB Operation PlayMP3/WMA/WAVfilesfrommanymassstoragedevicesbyconnectingthemtotheMR100'sUSBport.

ToplayMP3/WMA/WAVfilesfromanSDcard,insertanSDcardintotheMR100'sSDcardslotwiththelabelfacingleft.Itwillclickintoplacewhenproperlyinserted.Toremovethecard,pressinuntilitclicks,thenpulltoremove.

WhenaUSBorSDcarddeviceisfirstconnected,playbackwillbeginautomatically.Dependingonthenumberoffilesandfolders,thedevicemaytakeseveralsecondstobeginplayback.IfnovalidMP3/WMA/WAVfilesaredetected,"NOFILE"willbedisplayed.

Press TRACK ll toskiptothebeginningofthenexttrack.PressTRACK nn toreturntothebeginningoftheprevioustrack.

PressandholdTRACK ll or TRACK nn to fast forwardorreverseatrack.
