( Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State )
Issue No. 2 March 2018
It is a matter of proud to head the institute, which is more than hundred years old and consistently providing quality education in Diploma Engineering programs. Along with the focused technical teaching, the institute is vibrant in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities; which bring out real hidden potential within the student. The highlights of all such activities are presented in this second issue of “Samvaad”, a yearly news letter of R C Technical Institute.
This year the students presented their unique and innovative models in the tech fest “Aavishkaar - 2017”. Healthy mind needs healthy body. So, this year a sports event “RCASE – 2017” was held with the inclusion of a very special game “Archery”. In addition to this, many other activities like; blood donation camp, seminar on energy conservation, yoga day celebration, tree plantation, puppetry workshop were successfully organized.
To boost up pedagogical activity among the faculties, this year Institute Pedagogical Lecture (IPL) series also started. Various dedicated teachers delivered lectures on the topic of their expertise and thus IPL series provided a beautiful platform for knowledge dissemination. Thus, the year 2017 remained a progressive year for the students as well as teachers.
