Applications are invited from eligible bonafide lndian citizens through online mode at the District official website -www.birbhum.qoy.in for contractual engagement to the posts of 6 (six) Assistant Teachers, as stated below, at EkalavyaModel Residential School (English Medium), Birbhum at Vill & P0 - Kankutia,"P.S- Bolpur, Dist.-Birbhum run by PaschimBanga Adibasi Kalyan-O- Siksha Parshad (PBAKOSP, a registered society) under overall control of the TribalDevelopment Department, Govt, of West Bengal. Engagement will be made on purely contractual basis for a periodof one year and consolidated remuneration @ Rs 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) per month will be paid to theconcerned Assistant Teachdr (Contractual) for th-e said period.

After making scrutiny of the applications along with relevant documents received only through online mode & not by

any other means, Admit Cards for the shortlisted eligible candidates will be issued only through the District Official

website - www.birbhum.sov.in, which are to be downloaded from the said website by the eligible candidates. No

Admit Card will be issued to the non-eligible candidates.Candidates are requested to visit the District website (www.birbhum.gov._in) regularly for any subsequentinformation / updation in this matter,

The selection of candidates will be made through an Open Competitive Examination (Written Examination-85Marks + lnterview / Viva voce-15 Marks). The Written Examination will consist of questions on i) General English"20 Marks, ii) General Knowledge-20 Marks, iii) Knowledge on Concerned Subject-45 Marks. Questions of eachsubject (except Bengali & Santali) in Written Examination will be set in English Language and answers will have tobe given in English only, Questions & answers of the Literature / Language subject will be in the concernedlanguage.

The candidates will be further shortlisted for appearing in the lnterview / Viva voce on the basis of the

marks obtained in the Written Examination.Any omission /.suppression of information on the part of any candidate shall lead to rejection of application or

candidature at any stage of the process without further intimation to the concerned candidate,All requisite certificates regarding educational qualifications, proof of age, other relevant certificates and otherrequisite documents must be furnished, in original and self attested photocopy, during lnterview / Viva voce before

the District Selection Committee, Birbhum.The selected candidates, if engaged as an Assistant Teacher (Contractual), may at any point of time be transferredto other EMRS of West Bengal, if PBAKOSP desires to do so and he / she will get the facilities and benefits as

fixed by the authority of PBAKOSP, which have already been resolved or will be resolved time to time by thegoverning body of PBAKOSP shall abide by the rules and regulations as framed or to be framed by the PBAKOSP.Caste Certificate / Exempted Category Certificate i Persons with Disabilities Certificate, wherever applicable, must

be obtained from the competent issuing authority, othenruise the candrdature of the concerned applicant will

summarily be rejected,
