Revision page

When publishing a page (“Edit tab”), go straight to the “Revision information” section, three possible scenarios are available

• I want to overwrite the existing page with my changes;

• I want to keep a copy of the existing page and publish my changes now;

• I want to keep a copy of the existing page and publish my changes later.

Revision mode only affects the content of the page (what’s managed when in the edit tab). The left menu is not part of the revision.

Revision pageModify current version, no moderation

I want to overwrite the existing page with my changes;

• I’m making a small change and I’m sure that I won’t need to go back to the existing version.

• I’ve already tested the page in UAT, and I’m copying the entire content.

Revision pageCreate new revision, no moderation

I want to keep a copy of the existing page and publish my changes now;

• I need to update and publish an existing page right away but want to keep the older version as a backup;

• I need to go back to the older version later.

Revision pageCreate new revision and moderate

I want to keep a copy of the existing page and want to publish my changes later.

• My changes are not ready for publication;

• I need to have somebody validate my changes;

• I need to publish on a specific date.

After clicking save you should get a message saying the content was updated.

All revision to the page should appear here. The current (published) revision is highlighted in yellow

Choose a revision and click on the date to open it.

From this page click on:

• Revert to this will take you to the edit mode of that revision. From there you can simply have a look at the revision or publish it like any other page;

• From here you can also delete the revision.
