CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

I. Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) OR Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) (or Mockup when not available) OR product literature are to be supplied for each item on offer.

II. For medical materials and surgical devices kindly present the Declaration of Conformity. Quoted prices should be exclusive of vat.

III. Delivery period should be within 7 Working Days from Confirmation of Order. However if no contractor can meet this requirement the CPSU may consider otherwise.

IV. Quotations received without delivery time frames are considered to be in line with the above delivery time frames (7 days). Offers stating delivery details as ‘to be supplied upon request’ shall not be considered.

V. Payment terms for this Competitive Call are thirty (30) days from receipt of goods.VI. If a consignment is not delivered within the stated delivery, ERU reserves the right to cancel part/all order.

Item Description: Crepe Bandages

Functional description: For gentle support and light compression, to reduce pain and maintain stability in sprains and strains. It can also be used for heavy retention, for the fixation of splints and devices and in combination for venous leg bandaging.

Technical Specifications: The bandage fabric to be made of 65% cotton and 35% polyamide The fabric must be made of a plain, continuous weave (no joints) in which cotton threads are twisted to form a warp and a mix of cotton

and rayon threads form the weft Finished edges must maintain integrity and do not shred loose fibres. The bandage should conform well to different areas of the body but should not hamper muscular and joint flexibility Each bandage has to be individually wrapped and the wrapper must be easily removed with an indication of the tearable strip.
