General informationSt Catherine’s holiday programs aim to provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can go during the holidays to play, relax and learn new skills.
This holiday, our programs are open to students of the school and their siblings. Our Just for Fun (J4F) program will offer sport-specific, educational, creative and performing arts activities.

The Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package has been extended, as such we will be offering this Winter Holiday program free of charge.
Late booking fees and late collection fees will still be applied.

All registration details (including special needs, emergency contacts and authorisations) must be completed before bookings can be accepted.
Whilst we will not be applying charges for this Winter Holiday program please note that your booking is not confirmed unless you process the payment. Even though your total will be $0 you must still click to pay, enter your valid credit card details and then click process payment to confirm the booking.
COVID-19 Holiday Program Protocols
• If your child is sick, please keep them athome.
• Students may be subjected to temperaturetesting.
• If your child becomes unwell throughoutthe day, you will be required to collectthem.
• Parents and students should use handsanitiser provided before entering thepremises. Parents should not enter thepremises past the registration area.
• We will continue to remind students abouthygiene practices and social distancingwhere practicable.
• While we are only offering one programper day, we may need to split studentsinto groups to assist with social distancing.Group sizes will be kept to 20 or belowand students will be split by age.
• If the school has a confirmed case ofCOVID-19 during the holidays we will needto follow the advice of NSW Departmentof Health and close the holiday programfor a short period of time. In the event of aconfirmed case parents will be notified bySMS and email. Please ensure your contactdetails on your child’s holiday registrationare up to date.

Help stop the spread OF CORONAVIRUS
BEFORE entering please read below
If you, or your children, have any of the following symptoms, do not enter and please seek medical advice:

Together we can stop the spread of coronavirus
with some simple steps:
If your child is sick, keep them
at home.
Use a tissue or cough or sneeze into
your arm.
Put your tissues in a bin
straight away and then wash your hands.
Wash your
hands for at least 20 seconds
with soap and water before
and after drop off and pick up,
as well as before and after eating and after going
to the toilet.
Try to keep a physical distance of 1.5 metres
between other families and educators.

Additional provision
Everyday | Boys and girls aged 5+ Early Club 7.30am – 9am Late Club 3.30pm – 6pm
Balancing family life with holiday programs, work and other commitments can be challenging. We endeavour to support working families that face the challenge of supervising their children outside of the program times by providing early and late clubs at an extra cost. This service operates daily from 7.30am-9am and 3.30pm-6pm. It is important that all children are collected no later than 6pm, otherwise a penalty of $10 for each 15 minutes will be applied to cover staffing costs.
EARLY AND LATE CLUBS

J4F: Multisports
Wednesday 1 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Students will complete various drills, skill progressions and games to improve their fundamental sports skills such as coordination, agility, speed and balance. Today the focus will be on specific skills for sports such as tennis, netball, soccer and hockey.
J4F: Life in the Jungle
Tuesday 30 June | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Come on safari with us and we delve deep into the Asian Jungle. Your child will learn all about the animals who find their home within the jungle, their food chains, as well as the nature of these beautiful places and their ecosystems.
J4F: Dance Fever
Monday 29 June | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Are you ready to get your groove on? Come and join us for a day full of jazz hands and hip hop happ’n moves, as we get down to business…with this all-inclusive one day dance-a-thon! The program will help develop students’ dance technique and deepen their understanding of the different dance disciplines. So, come along and have a boogie!

J4F: Investigating Italy
Thursday 2 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Mamma Mia this will be a fun day! And what would a trip to Italy be without some garlic bread? Come and enjoy some iconic Italian treats! We will learn about the culture and history of the amazing birth place of pizza! As well as a yummy treat, students will also get to bring a hand-made Italian inspired artwork home!
J4F: Wild Weather
Friday 3 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Wild weather is all around us – so it’s time to take a deeper look. We will be investigating and learning about natural weather phenomenon’s including: tsunamis, bushfires and tornados. Join us for a day of wild fun.
Week 2Monday 6 July - Friday 10 July
J4F: Multisports
Wednesday 8 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Students will complete various drills, skill progressions and games to improve their fundamental sports skills such as coordination, agility, speed and balance. Today the focus will be on specific skills for sports such as badminton, touch-football, tennis and soccer.
J4F: Deep Blue
Tuesday 7 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Have you ever wondered what lurks beneath the Deep Blue? We have, and we’re ready to help you discover who really lives under the sea. Students will be involved in a series of discovery activities and fun games to learn about the ocean and its creatures!
J4F: Beading and Jewellery
Monday 6 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
The beading and jewellery theme will provide the opportunity for students to create and design their own unique pieces. The day will focus on fostering creativity and developing skills needed to construct a range of different jewellery creations.

J4F: Mexican Fiesta
Thursday 9 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Hola! Come and join our Mexican Fiesta! We will be delving into the fiesta festivities as we explore the culture and celebrations of Mexico. We will be learning some Spanish phrases, enjoying traditional Mariachi music and creating a Mexican inspired artwork!
J4F: Gymnastics Jamberoo
Friday 10 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Our gymnastics jamberoo is for everyone. Our workshops will develop strength, flexibility and coordination while building confidence in body movement. The program will comprise of a variety of activities including both men’s and women’s artistic and rhythmic gymnastics apparatus and skills.
Week 3Monday 13 July - Friday 17 July

J4F: Great Southern Land
Tuesday 14 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
We are taking a walk around our own backyard! Come and join us as we have a look at some native animals and our amazing landscapes. The day will be a celebration of our Great Southern Land.
J4F: Wellbeing Warriors
Monday 13 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
Are you ready to be taken on a mindful, mood-boosting mission? Students will take their health into their own hands by learning stress-management strategies, morsels of meditation and heaps of healthy habits. We’ll be discussing resilience, rest, rejuvenation and the importance of the mind-body connection for overall wellbeing. Put on your war paint, pull on your yoga pants and let’s get relaxing!
Week 3Monday 13 July - Friday 17 July
J4F: Visiting Vietnam
Thursday 16 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
This time we’re checking out Vietnam! We will be having a look at some traditional Vietnamese customs and culinary delights. Students will also learn about the history and geography of the incredible country during the workshop.
J4F: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Friday 17 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
This workshop is designed to give our students the information and processes necessary to reduce the negative impacts on our environment. Focused on everyday home practices, with a connection to larger environmental issues, students will be taking a crash course in all things recycling. Students will leave with the knowledge and skills to begin their own war on waste!
Week 4Monday 20 July
J4F: Mellow Monday
Monday 20 July | Boys and girls aged 5+ | 9.00am – 3.30pm
On the last day of our holiday program students will be saying “NO!” to Monday Blues! This program is about enjoying ourselves and kicking back before we go back to school! Students will vote on a film, to be watched in the theatre, among a whole heap of other fun activities. Bring along some popcorn and enjoy the day!
