What is climate change?

Climate change is a natural phenomenon and normally takes place over several centuries. However, the term “climate change” is now being used to refer to the current climate.

This is because recent evidence shows that the global climate seems to be changing more rapidly than usual, as a result of human behaviour.

Air travel and other forms of transportation emit high levels of the greenhouse gases which can cause climate change, including carbon dioxide (CO2).
