Rather than focusing on a single problem, such as an inefficient heating and cooling system or windows, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR pinpoints how specific improvements throughout your home can work together to make your entire home more comfortable and save you money.

Start with a Home Performance Energy Audit for Just $100* (a $400 Value)BGE customers pay only $100* for a Home Performance Energy Audit conducted by a participating Home Performance contractor. Your contractor will examine all the areas of your home that can cause comfort and energy efficiency problems, as well as high electricity use, such as:

• Insulation levels• How “tight” or “leaky” your home is to outside air

* $100 offer is valid for homes up to 3,000 square feet with a single combustion appliance zone. Audits on larger homes or ones with multiple combustion appliance zones may cost more than $100. You should discuss the audit’s cost with your selected participating contractor.
