3D Printers available!

We now have 3D printers available in both of the Library Media Centers. These are to be used by teachers and students. This is a great resource for PBL projects and everyday learning. I would appreciate an adult being trained on how to use the 3D printers before scheduling their use.

We have a rainbow of colors to print in! You can print in one color at a time but you can pause the printer to change colors. Thingiverse is a great source of files to print. Also, many museums and colleges are now offer-ing files as well. The Makerbot Print-Shop is installed on the student iPads for students to design rings, bracelets and medals.

There are so many options, sign up for a training to learn all the features. I learned in a very short period of time to 3D print so can you!
